MGS4 is the best selling PS3 exclusive as of right now. That is the reason for the question.
But that is mostly because of the PS3 slim momentum and being released near the holiday season. MGS4 on the other hand was released when the PS3 was at a low point in sells and was used to help boost a struggling system. The PS3 isn't really struggling anymore so I can see Uncharted 2 doing very well.
It's a nice jump for MGS4 as I see PS3 exclusives on the rise with PS3 slim sales. But Uncharted 2 just jumped up in sells quick. It's going to give Halo 3: ODST some nice competition.

GTA4 made its biggest mistakes with the additional content that they put into the game.
Side missions such as hanging out with friends and the whole phone setup made the game become annoying.
The city feel was too similar and made driving around less fun. (not to mention the lack of hidden packages)
The soundtrack sucked. (GTA has been known for having a stellar soundtrack in the past).
Multiplayer sucked.

No. The PS2 is the best selling console of all time and had all developers full support. Microsoft had to dish out money to get developers to put their games on the original xbox. The big difference this generation is that the developers that put their games on the 360 as exclusives have crawled their way back to Sony. Instead of Sony begging for games they demand game improvements and additional content with the money that game developers have once again got from Microsoft's bribing.

Actually there are a select few that just can't shut up about how bad VGChartz are, I think that the majority of people accept the site as a credible source with (+/-) margin of error. I just sucks to argue with the anti VGChartz people because they already have their minds set no matter what you say.
This title just goes to show that the PS3 will always be doomed. If the Xbox 360 started out selling the Wii, that's all we would hear about. But for some reason now that the PS3 is outselling both the Wii and 360 by a big margin, we still get article titles saying the PS3 is struggling in sales? Why aren't the 360 and Wii discontinued yet then?

The Wii may have been made during the time the 360 /PS3 were made, but from a technology stand point it is made to compete with a PS2. The 360 and PS3 are still way, way behind what the PS2 sales were given the time frame. This shows that people are slow to adapt to next gen. system(PS3 and 360). This is because most people are still content with the still selling PS2 or Wii(who is close to PS2 sales up to this point). Thus we are still in the PS2/Wii era

It appeals only to hardcore gamers. Sure its a nice a bundled pack, but its not going to do anything to stop the momentum that the PS3 is gaining heading into this holiday season. If the PS3 slim continues to "get its foot in the door" like it has been with its pre-holiday season sales it will put itself on the market nicely. All it takes is a successful holiday season to completely change the tide of the console war.

I actually was a neutral gaming fan until I started coming to this site. Now we all use the term "Trolling" when in fact that is the foundation of this site. Why else would you see an article like this? The top reads are always reasons why the Ps3 is doomed or why you need to ditch your 360. Flaimbait? We are the ones that choose what we want to see.
Anyone who uses the term trolling is likely a hypocrite. It's why we are here now isn't it.
Stick to Sony's exclusives you'll probably be surprised with how good most them actually are. (Sony just can't Market like Microsoft can)

The PS3 is only selling 3 times the amount of Wii in Japan, if this trend continues then The PS3 will only be the number one seller in Japan. I'm glad edge pointed out this gloomy outlook for the PS3.
Actually HALO 3 OTS and Uncharted 2 are neck and neck in sales on amazon right now, and Uncharted 2 comes out several weeks later. I wouldn't be surprised if Uncharted 2 pulls off more sales after all the PS3 is on a hot streak.
