I like Kojima. But I'm still skeptical about how over developed wii ware is going to translate into the hardcore gamer realm. Despite MS buying big profile names such as Kojima to work on Natal I believe that MS would be more successful using his talents in making a game on par with his usual work (without the use of Natal).

Video games have unnecessarily high restrictions despite their rating system. No doubt this game will come under criticism and a couple of nutjobs are likely to ask for a ban altogether. But at least this will pave a way for future games and their artistic right.

The PS3 slim has well documented estimates that show it outsold both the 360 (arcade pro and elite combined) and wii consoles by a land slide since its release. You'd have to be using twisted logic not to understand that both the 360 and wii are reacting to the PS3 slim sales despite who did what at what time.
Natal is just an overly expensive overly developed version of Wii Ware. I don't see the elderly flocking to Microsoft to play wii fit ever. The only people that are excited about Natal are the same people that are always exited about 360 products. I have yet to meet one PS3 or Wii exclusive owner that even cares about Natal, meaning Microsoft is only preaching to the quire.
This move would be horrible for gamers. EA is to big of a company and too successful on its own. EA wanting to buy out take two was a horrible idea, Microsoft buying out EA is even worse.

I still don't understand why people would prefer paying for xbox live vs. having the PSN for free. I'm sure I'll get some reply saying I just need to experience it? That has been a serious question since Live is always being bragged about.

@few new IPs; Microsoft already failed with exclusive rights to tales of Versperia and all of SE games including SO4. ToV has already sold better on the PS3 a year after being released on the 360 as an exclusive.
@sequels to older IPs; Game developers are unlikely to give exclusive rights again to the 360 after failing the first time. S05 will be released on the PS3 as well.

The more effort Microsoft puts into the region the more they lose. We all thought Microsoft won before when they stole Sony's jrpgs. But really they lost big time. What can they possible offer at the Tokyo game show this year that will even matter.
Who will win? Only people in the U.S. even see this at a competition. Microsoft has lost that region and failed to gain a foot hold time and again.
It is still going to be the new PS3 slim with a band new starting price vs. the old and price reduced xbox 360. Price reduction = devalued product.
The console war is still going strong and dvd's are still in demand for gaming. Sony still has to make its case for the use of Blue Ray discs for gaming purposes. Sure we have Uncharted 2 and MGS4 but most game developers production values are not that high and until they are dvd's will be just fine for game's in this day and age.

Forza 3 isn't going to get anywhere near GT5 in sales. The thing about GT5 is it's Grand Trismo! The graphics only scratch the surface about why this is the best racing series ever made. Forza 3 has a lot of hype, but when all is said in done it'll have nothing on GT5 (which could become the highest selling PS3 game yet).
If you want to hype Forza 3 you'd do better not mentioning the Grand Trismo series.
Halo:ODST was just released today. Uncharted to isn't released until Oct. 13th. These 2 games are going to be very close in overall sales so you're going to want to compare week one sales vs. week one sales. I think Uncharted 2 still has a good shot of outselling Halo:ODST (which will be a major upset to Microsoft since it is a Halo game).

Rockstar was originally PS3 exclusive in general, I wouldn't be surprised if they went back in that rout now that Sony is making smart decisions again.
