I swear I'll be playing against what sounds like a 10-12 year old and whenever I kill an enemy soldier and find out who the kid is, I'll do my best to just stalk the kid through the battlefield, sneak up behind him and shank him or pop a cap in the back of his head. I love to hear them saying "Hey, NegativeCreep, stop killing me you stupid A**hole!!"
I also love it when a little kid will be talking in the lobby before a game is about to start and he tells everybody in...
I'm sure Sony has some blockbuster releases already in store for 2009 (such as Syphon Filter and Jak and Daxter) but GOW3 would be better suited for a 2009 release. After all, Sony needs as much ammunition as they can muster up for the next year as well (this year Sony pretty much has enough ammunition to arm a large militia).
I hope Sony adds some new gameplay elements to GOW3 that haven't been used in the franchise yet. If you've seen the ending to GOW2 you know that the potential is there for new experiences, like maybe as Kratos you can command the Titan Army similiar to how a strategy game works.
I just hope Jack Thompson or Nut Cracker Clinton don't use instances like this one as evidence of videogames dumbing down America's populous.

I've only been able to find MGS2 Substance on Gamestop.com for a lousy $24.99 used. After all these years Gamestop is still selling the game used at a higher price than a Greatest Hits title brand new.
I'm buying the collection just for Substance so I plan on trading in my copy of MGS3 Subsistence to receive hopefully at least a $10 allowance on the price of the essential collection. But MGS3 subsistence is packed with 2 DVD's so shouldn't the Essential Collection have 5 discs ...
Every business on the planet has one primary objective and thats making money (exceptions do exist, such as non-profit organizations and educational institutions). But in a situation such as with Sony and the PS2 it is in the company's best interest to continue dispensing new software on a machine that continues to push sales numbers; its essentially a "I'll scratch you're back if you scratch mine" situation between Sony and the gaming public.

Microsoft needs to learn how to create a video game console that can last longer than a new Fox sitcom, the xbox 360 certainly isn't that console.

Is that really one of Sony's first-party titles? It looks like something the PS3 would want all for itself.
The seamless transition from the CG snap clips and the actual gameplay is unreal (particularly when the guy jumps through the window and then it seamlessly switches to gameplay when he starts firing behind the counter).

When I went to Game Stop to purchase my 80 gig PS3 the cashier actually tried to convince me to purchase an xbox 360 instead, No BS.
He was almost acting like he was my father or something giving me direction on what not to spend my money on. I eventually told him to just shut up and not to worry about what I do.
