they have other types of jumps. Titan have Jet packs and Warlocks have glide.
They all also have a special type of melee attack. Only the hunter gets the throwing knife.
I bought a 360 half way into it's cycle to play Halo 3. I'm not going to buy a XB1 to play those same games.
If they did come to PC with support for player run dedicated servers I'd consider purchasing them as a collection.
Don't see anything bad about that. It just means we can expect 3D games from AAA talent from the outset, rather than wait for the big publishers to decide to jump in.
When the drop ship started shooting explosive bolts at me I was like "Yeah Halo is definitely in here", and that's totally ok with me.
I doubt it...right now the two Earth zones I know of are Old Russia and Chicago. Leaves plenty for them to add in later.
The only problem I see with Destiny is that the Hunter class has way more appeal than the other guardians. They have the double jump, the knife, and the golden gun.
Not sure why this is any issue. the only time you'll see your characters face is at the Citadel, 95% of the time you'll be wearing a helmet.
First time I was fighting the fallen and shots came over my shoulder from two players behind me I didn't know where there sold me on this game.
This all looks a little too ridiculous. RPGs flying around downtown, Police choppers using rockets, Police basically committing unjustified homicide.
This all works in a "Battlefield" game, but it makes the police theme feel like tacked on or just a "skin".
I love Kevin Spacey. I think I actually see some marked improvement with this game.
I won't be getting this for my PS4 or my PC. Not going to support a dev who's obviously flame baiting.
TOR's problem was that the character's stories were way more interesting than the game itself. Once you made it to the end there was no reason to keep playing.
ESO definitely doesn't suffer from that problem.
Minecraft should definitely be on that list.
....which will be immediately proceeded by the fall of civilization as we know it.
I think something that the author missed is that a game needs to play at least at 60 fps in order to simulate virtual presence. The Oculus will have the definite advantage of being a PC platform that, in general, can achieve higher frame rates.
On PC this one will be exclusive to Origin. EA isn't usually as quick to discount games as Valve is.
I kind of got that feeling too. I really feels like a mod or spin-off of Call of Duty to me. It's just a little too Arcade-y for my taste.
I'd still like to see how they work the story elements into it.
Steam Machines can't fail, or at the very least it doesn't cost Valve anything if they did.
All Valve had to do is develop the OS and the controller. All other manufacturing is being handled by 3rd Parties.
Those 3rd Parties won't be cranking out Steam Machines like Sony or MS does. They'll be making them to order.
Unless you're a share-holder this crap shouldn't matter to any of us, regardless of manufacturer.
Sounds like a lot of people are having their preconceived notions challenged.
I'd stop trying to compare this game to COD and start thinking of it more like Left 4 Dead. Was anyone mad that all the zombies were AI? Did it ruin the game?
Would you really want 50 titans running around on the server, or have to wait in line to pilot one?
It was the same for me. It disappointed me that after a week of the game being out I couldn't get a match made for the story campaign anymore.
It's cool if people like the game and are still playing it, but I had hoped it would be more.
