They should still be on target for the end of this month....the videos they show are usually from an earlier point in the mods production.

I would like this game to sell well for DICE, but maybe not too well....
If a game is ultra successful, like COD, then the dev and publishers change that game to suit the mass markets, which usually means dumbing it down.
Some of the best games are the ones that don't sell well.
I don't understand the fascination PS3 fanboys have with Valve. I'm sick of seeing all the melodramatic outrage whenever Valve says their not going to develop for PS3. It's not even like Valve is going out of their way to say these things...their always responding to a question that everybody already knows the answer to..."Is Valve going to bring [Game name here] to the PS3?"

I love the quality of their audio. It actually sounds real and has a lot of depth.
This is just IW devs talking like politicians. They don't even acknowledge that people have a problem with them taking away Dedicated servers. Every interview they've done on the subject is to frustrating to read.
I'm going to wait and see if the modders can't crack this game and implement their own server browser.
There really is only two possible outcomes in this situation. Either IW stops making PC games all together or they continue to gimp their games. It's a loss for gamers anyway you look at it.
You don't increase the value of a game by removing PC gamer's freedom.

I don't see any petitions from the noob-average gamers calling for match-making only. This is just an excuse to push paid DLC to PC.
I wouldn't say they're graphics are horrible, but I never really cared for the way they animated the game.

This would be totally illogical....The only way this would work is if Valve somehow made it impossible to mod their games, stopping mod devs from releasing them for free, but then there would be no mods to sell.
This is an Xbox only issue. It's sad they can't have free access to content, but Microsoft probably has their reasons.
This is probably the best single player mod for Half Life 2.
All the hardened edition is, is the illusion that your getting something more while coaxing you out of 20 or 30 more bucks. It's just a metal case and an art book that your only going to look at once...who cares? Download a digital copy and you don't have to worry about what you're going to do with the stupid box.

It would still be best to leave your sexual orientation out of it. For the most part nobody playing online cares about you or your preferences, and if you throw it in their faces expect a harsh reaction.
The question isn't that this game will be a rip off...it's "Was buying the first game a ripoff?". Many people bought into the first game knowing that there wasn't much content, but they also thought that there would be new maps, weapons, and enemies added in later. Now what modder is going to want to make content for L4D when a whole new game with more features is coming?
As long as there is a food supply and no predators to keep them in check animals will continue to breed. For some animals humans are the only natural predator they have left. It's our job to maintain the balance.
Sentience simply means the ability to perceive with the senses. It doesn't mean that the animals are in anyway self aware, or have any concept of self.
