I'll take your words as compliments. There is nothing wrong with having knowledge about computers. If we are the geeks what does that make you? An uneducated couch potato? PC gameing is for enthusiasts who enjoy being in full control of the system. So sit there in front of your tv and enjoy your simple mind numbing experience. P.S. The only people who reference the lack of a social or love life most likley have none themselves
@Bladestar
Why would anyone want a HD pc drive yet? Ever heard of the HDCP? Most High definition tv support copyright protection of high definition movies, but you are going to find it hard to locate a computer monitor that supports it bellow the $600 price range. Without an HDCP-ready monitor the video will be downscaled to 480p. enjoy
None of those games are exclusive. Alan Wake and Bioshock will be realesed for PC at the same time as 360, and Halo 3 some time after.
If you have followed this game you would know better. Untill now all FPS developers have been using clever ways to make gamers feel like they are in Giant areas, but really all they are seeing are Sky boxes. With Crysis everything is in game: the clouds, the mountains, everything. The environments are also fully destructable and they react to the player, no more walking right through foliage without disturbing it. According to the developers there is more involed with rendering a single char...
It looks like a good game, but to call it historic is a bit of a push. This game looks and plays great but was short and didn't have too much in the way of story.
We are all Geeks...Sounds like your in denile.
double post :P
It's not about quantity its about quality. Xbox may have brought multiplayer to the wider console base, but PC games have been doing it longer and they do it better. Xbox-live does have a good stat tracking and friend list features but I would never pay for them. Try Battlefield 2142, Counter Strike Source, Or Day of Defeat. Then tell me whats better
fast paced*
From a PC's FPS player's perspective, the last two games in the Halo series were very slow paced. They also had very dull and repetetive environments. They need to make it more faced paced and more exciting. They should also add more scripted sequences to make the game more cinimatical.
Looks Great. Hope it comes out soon after the Vista release. I need something to tide me over untill HL2-episode 2
Because an Xbox 360 version hasn't been confirmed by anyone. Plus it was featured in a PS3 viral video. You don't brag about something everybody else is getting
Where did it say it was coming to the 360? Not "fanboy"-ing just curious.
Because the Developers are German.
The only reason it sucked was because of lazy ass Gearbox developers.
They are not saying that it won't come to windows. They are just confirming that they are not confirming GOW for windows.
Oh no! You caught me. Thank you for your worthless respone.
Or waiting for the PS3's bugs to get worked out.
I'm also talking about being able to mod the games. Computer games will always have the most user-generated content, and will always look better. And by the way I do have a $3,000 computer.
My bad this is a new Vista feature. Still kind of bad news. If you want to keep watching HD video without spending more don't upgrade to Vista I guess
