Game development has accrued such astronomical costs these days I am not surprised studios are closing.
Please go back to simpler times developers where you're not spending millions on the soundtrack or voice-actors alone.

It didn't cheat the past at all as it was met with complete ire and contempt from gaming community and media alike. So much so the CEO released an awful Youtube video with a "we're very sorry we let you down" statement.
That was entertaining thanks. But as you said. You are in a minority with that PC. Not sure PS4 or Xbox One people will agree with you. The game still under delivered from pre release hype.

Aside from some indie studios there seems to be a reluctance to experiment because now it's all about driving sales to recoup the massive development costs. Yet many AAA games make massive profits for publishers. Case in point Cyberpunk 2077.

The game is still locked at 30 fps despite what this benchmark shows. You need to edit the config file to unlock it.
