There's a big novelty factor when it comes to the ability to recreate iconic and cult classic stuff. It's highly amusing and/or fascination for a lot of people.
There are only a TINY fraction of LBP creators that have really hit their stride. With every passing week the LBP universe will have an ever increasing supply of robust original levels.
Even when the mainstream interest for the game wanes, there will always be a hardcore community entertaining one another rig...

MM's levels, while short, are some of the best designed platformer levels anywhere in recent memory. Top notch.
A lot of developers choose not to get into multi platform development. Valve favors the 360, and that works for them.
As far as I'm aware, Microsoft doesn't pay them any money for that, and Sony is not in the business of buying their way into 3rd part stuff, usually. So it comes squarely down to valves preferences.

Most people take their Virus protection on Windows from 3rd party developers. Norton/Symantec, Grisoft, etc.
The few times I've had a worm on Windows I've fixed the problem via a specific, custom built 'symantec security response'. Symantec is usually prompt to release one as they discover new threats in circulation.

Hard to fault the graphics and presentation of Gears...Looks great.
Two things though:
1. It doesn't look CO OP enough. It's a couple dudes running around in the place shooting at things. They aren't depending on one another directly, and they aren't actually -co operating-...? The interaction is lacking.
2. This is probably the fifth or sixth Horde-mode gameplay video I've seen. And I don't recall seeing more than about FOUR enemies at the most on the s...

I was really hoping this game would have a Myth feel to it. Myth is Bungie's RTS series from back in the day, and they were AWESOME games.
This is completely generic. It's Command and Conquer: Halo, but worse. The scale feels wrong. Everything feels like micro sized toys. Big vehicles move too fast, the battles don't make sense and bear not even the slightest resemblance to what those individual units would...
