Isn't it kinda weird that SOCOM got shafted on scores because of server issues, but not one single publication docked any Gears points for this matchmaking problem?

I say that as a PS3 owner who would like to play Gears.
Consoles need exclusives. Every good game out there doesn't HAVE to be multi. It all drives this little thing you might hae heard about called COMPETITION. It's what keeps the industry healthy, it's what instigates change and evolution at a faster than normal pace. Each console should have its draws and they keep the contest fierce.

COD:WAW is bug ridden and too much like COD4 for me, and I feel the same way about pretty much every other recent shooter this year. For me, R2 is the only thing that offers me compelling online gameplay, and I personally give them MASSIVE KUDOS for making it happen.

A vast majority of the major critics Do think Resistance 2 is a special offering. Not everyone likes the SP campaign, but the multiplayer options have been unanimously praised and for good reason.

R2 does not suck. You're entitled to your opinion, but it is not popular opinion. N4G disagrees with you, as do a majority of reviews posted at metacritic, which lists roughly 25 9+ reviews.
If you were wise man you would accept that while you dislike R2, most people think it's pretty sweet.

It says MULTIPLATFORM. what more confirmation do you want? Killzone 2 is coming to Wii!. The Wii's graphics aren't that bad I think it'll look awesome.
