but my ps3 wont run all my games @1080p.
my pc though 2 years old runs all of em at 1080p plus they run at 60fps. while i get mod support, free dlcs etc.
games cost cheaper too.. the money i save buying cheaper games easily makes up for any small mods i might need to keep my pcgaming at 1080p
sure my ps3 gets to run when ever a good exclusive is out.
which is why most games on the ps3 or the 360 are forced to run @600p
they would have horrible fps issues if they tried to make a moderen day game on the ps3 run at 1080p.
7800 just cant handle it.
i switched to pc gaming a year back and havent looked back.
my ps3 now plays its exclusives.
pretty much any midrange gpu will run this at @1080p full AA.
my rig has a 9800gtx.. game runs @ 1080 60fps+
still those are resolutions way out of reach for an xbox.

most of the games on it run at 640p.
i given up playing any multiplats on my ps3. my ps3s now reserveed for its exclusives.
now all multiplats are bought on my pc.. my 9800gtx runs them @ 1080p and every game costs me cheaper.
theres like 20 games out of 300 released on the ps3 that run at 1080p and those games dont really push hardware.
most games just are in sub hd..

I was in the market few days back to buy a controller for my PC.
Well i wanted an Xbox controller since all the games on the pc now support that contoller.
Most of the shops only seemed to have a Wireless model.
Well i asked the shopkeeper i want a wired model so i dont have the hassle of changing batteries all the time.
The Shop keeper adviced me to buy one of the overpriced Xbox chargers.

when i was out looking for a next gen console. the very unit the shop keeper was showing me for the xbox, wouldnt work because of RROD. The shop keeper was trying to convince me this isnt a common occurance, glad i didnt take the bait.
PC, PS3 are the best combo.

my pc cost me 600usd 2years back.. when the ps3 was @ 600usd
a year back took a friends advice upgraded my gpu with a 9800gtx. which cost me like 170usd.
been playing with it for a year with all the multiplats out, price difference of the games alone makes the purchase free for me and yes for your info it plays all the games 1080p 60fps+ max settings.
so overall the pc cost me cheaper then the ps3 plays the multiplats better, though i love my ps3 f...

4gigs is a lot of memory. its enough for any game.
glad i got the pc version.
id get it on my ps3.. but console game prices are very high where i am at. 75usd per game, dont think this games worth that much.
ill wait on the pc version, which will look better and play better anyways.

the pc version has:
better graphics, stable fps, modding support, faster load times etc etc all that while being cheaper.

edit: 8800gt is still superior to whatever the ps3 will be doing.
anyways for my part.. i got my 9800gtx 1yr back, cost me like 170usd.. i am sure it must be below 100usd now.
now i save 10-25usd on every game i buy.. superior experience and cheaper prices.

mouse and keyboard are just a needed for this type of game.
i really dont get why ppl pay 60usd for games its too much.
got this on the pc 45usd on steam.
saved 15usd on the xbox version.
plus if any dlcs come out they will be free on the pc. so thats even more saving for a superior version imo great deal.

no replacement for mouse keyboard for this genre.
higher resolutions/textures, FPS & mods are an added bonus.
i play my exclusives on the ps3...
multiplats on the pc, its just better that way.
