yeah it was kinda hinted at strongly pre-e3 that the camera was going to be included as standard (also partly why I think they put colour bars on the controller), in an 'ideal' world it would have been included but not mandatory and for just a little extra ($50) or even for nothing.
However I see why they dropped it to beat MS convincingly on price while giving a stronger system with better hardware, it was a wise choice and will please more people than it will disapp...

I agree - the DS4 looks great, can't wait to hold it. The xb1 pad doesn't look as good at all, same crap plastic, same hard buttons.
And Ryse? Pretty sure I've pressed A/B/X/Y in a game before. At least Killzone actually HAD gameplay.
BTW it looked amazing, far better than anything MS actually showed as a game. Infamous SS was also amazing. MS's stuff looked like current gen polished up.
Ryse looked really really boring and it's graphics looked like a cutscene, in the worst way.
Actual games with gameplay (KZ:SF, Infamous SS) and the tech demo sorcerer were much much better looking both in art direction and graphics tech. Ryse looked flat and boring to me.
the only non mobile game I bought online was Unreal Tournament 3 on steam (PC) because it was on offer (£8) and it's a multiplayer game that (I assumed) would have legs.
I also got BF3 through origin because it was free with my intel i72700k CPU - would never have bought it digitally though. It's just a pain for such large games, still is even with improving internet speeds/caps.
A game you know will last - ie BF, UT etc is slightly more tempting...
