A reboot? Please NO !
Even gamersyde uploaded a a washed out video that they corrected later: http://www.neogaf.com/forum...
There is another corrected video in another article.
To everyone. You don't really know the meaning of Pre-alpha stage don't you? In pre-alpha stage you are just doing the basics of the game, trying stuff, puting ideas in the engine that may compeleletly by removed or changed. I will take the example of Unreal Tournament 4 (where I am taking part of): the game is now in pre-alpha stages: every map has NO TEXTURE yet, it is still using UT3 (so UE3) models , meshes and weapons. The final build will use UT4 weapons and models built from sc...

The only game that will make gamers rage if it will be exclusive!
Shenmue 3 on PS4 excluisvely will make fans rage no doubt. I am almost sure it will be that game.

With each update UE4 gets better optimizations and performance is amelioarted. UE4 supports a wide range of platforms including mobile.
I can add to the fifth reason. Fonal Fantasy games are well known for their ighly detailed characters in pre-rendered cutscenes that can hardly be equalized by other pre-rendrered movies let alone in game video game characters. Aki Ross uses 500k polygons. The Dark Sorcerer from Quantic Dream uses around one million polygons and moves and looks miles better than here and feels like a real human and he is an ingame video game character. They didn't put much efforts in that movie TBH.
This is the first time that I heard that resolution is determined by CPU , good job ubisoft, I hope you enjoy your extra pots of wine.
Good article BTW!

Yes I totally agree, since the first time games started casting dynamic shadows with MGS2 which was a neat feature at that time but it was spoiled by the flickering and pixelation, these joy spoiling glitches never got repaired or at least improved even in recent games. Seeing how the new UE4.5 update handles it now with a mathematically accurate way (see the pics in the official Unreal Engine site in credit URL), you will be amazed how realistic shadows look now and even thrilled (stealth or...

In Ubisoft we "NEVER" trust !
Update the title please: The article's title has been updated. Scott Rohde was talking about "rebooting the studio" and not the God of War IP.
