if they're releasing the console next year, they've most likely finalised specs to allow developers to get the gains from the games, especially with the GPU since it will have custom architecture.

I have to disagree, the Minecraft bit came off as fake but the Sea of Thieves bit seems legit.

Sony had the better conference because of their games. They had big surprises even though we knew those studios were working on something.

MS had a great conference but those big surprises came of weak because of how much got leaked earlier in the month. If there had been no leaks, I'd think it may have had the same impact of what Sony had on me and most people watching E3. Next thing Phil has to do is get a Safe.

Ahh, okay, so now all of a sudden Windows is not an MS platform but in case of "Play Anywhere" games it is?
I don't see MS publishing games for Sony's console, do you? (well other than Minecraft but there's a reason for that)

DeadR 3 was published by Capcom on Steam. Marvel Game's could do the exact same thing if it's in a deal with Sony.

Not really, DeadRising 3 was published my MS, it went on to Steam in 2014. There is a chance of the game going onto PC, not sure Xbox. Marvel's Game department are in Partnership in getting this made. If this game is successful, there is a strong chance for further iteration going multiplat.

Got to give it to Phil for taking on those point's head on, instead of using PR Bull. He know's the Xbox One is losing and he know's how the comment sections thinks of him.

It's pretty Obvious, they're turning Xbox into a service with it's own Console hardware. SImilar to STEAM going from just a service to STEAM Machines, except this is the otherway round.

I'm guessing the call's from the Investors to kill the Xbox inflect...

My Day ONE Xbox is massive, this is much smaller. Why wouldn't I get the slim? SInce the console would be backwards compatible when the time comes I will trade in for scorpio.

I got to be honest, Sony have confirmed plans for the NEO, does it make it harder to buy the PS4?
Difference is MS have given the specs and a rough date for it's release.

My answer is the Xbox One S will sell fine, especially for it's price and options. Scorpio is till over a year away. Same goes for NEO, although the rumours are saying they'll release it this year.

Eurogamer's are speculating 12GB GDDR5 for Scorpio, since they're aiming for 320gb/s

They are for PS4 but like Dead Rising 3 and 4, the console version may be published by the console maker but later on released on STEAM but published by say Marvel Game Studio's..... right now it's just speculation. But it was weird they phrased it like that.

At this stage of the designs for the components, everything is already fix, they probably can afford to add a minor component such as esram but I guess they would have to accept the hardware they have designed

AMD Have confirmed they're working on manufacturing GPU's for three different consoles, one which is supposedly releasing this year (I think it may be NEO). After the Scorpio AMD did tweet:
