Let's hope they're given another chance.
I don't mind them using the character as tech demo doesn't really bother me, but I do feel sad they're not making a real use of the IP in terms of making a game.
"Now this gen they acquired 7 of them and closed them down"
Not really, apart from pressplay and lionhead the rest are devs working on Hololens applications - Function, LXP, SOTA. And the other created games on kInect - BigPark and Good Science.
Tbh the only devs concerning Xbox Brand are LionHead, Press Play and Team Dakota.
They've only been removed from the web site but we still don't know yet if they will be closed. For...
Damn, was not expecting that. Best of luck to those talented people!
"They play it on the PS4 because its the better console alternative and they dislike PC gaming I guess or don't want/can't to spend the money to have the superior experience"
@Hoffmann
Do you see the irony in this statement and your comment above against the Xbox one?
People need a justifiable reason to complain. In this case hating the company the brand they support competes with.
"pay more money to get less!"
They have only floated the idea out there, you, me or anyone on here don't know where this will take them. Only they know. Not in any shape or form they have confirmed they will be pursuing the idea.
Technically for them Xbox One and Wind10 is becoming a single platform. With universal apps, they're aiming to merge the two. That's been their aim since Windows 10 announcement. I think right now we only see the benefit being one sided, with games going from Xbox to PC but their end game is to make it work both ways. Xbox to PC, PC to Xbox.

"Microsoft is determined to ruin console gaming for the consumer. If it's not DRM it's expensive pricing programs and costly upgrades and forcing their software down people's throat"
Well the way your previous comment is written is as if MS have already implemented the idea. What we have heard is all speculation of what can happen from a brand leaders comments. Reality is this can go either way.
Your comments all show you have an agenda ...
I saw this reply on by Phil on twitter -

From his reply, I actually think making it into a single platform is going to be beneficial for gamers especially when PC games come to Xbox One.
I actually see it as a good thing. It's got cross buy so that's an incentive to get the Xbox version and the PC version with it. It helps towards making the game a bigger success, and a bigger chance of the game being turned into a franchise. It's still a console exclusive. You won't be seeing the game on any other platform apart for what MS own.
Apart from that, MS considering Xbox One and Windows 10 as one platform surely that would mean Windows 10/PC only ...
Not really. The majority of those who game (Hardcore, Casual etc) don't own a gaming pc. It's still a good thing it's coming to PC, more sales for the game to become a success.
I think it's been a hit. It gave me a reason to play a few of my old games which have been gaining dust.
Sony never released PS3 numbers publicly, yet they still did well. The reason they're not releasing numbers is because it's being hammered by the PS4. Doesn't mean it's doing any bad. Even if the 18 million is any accurate, it's still couple million ahead the 360 in the same time frame.
It's an estimate by an analyst. Even if they were at 18 million, stil 2.5mil ahead the 360.
18million is an estimate by ann analyst. Not officially disclosed by MS.
"PS4 could be well over 36 million units sold by now."
I doubt that, more around 32 - 33mil i'd estimate, they just reached 30.2m 3 weeks ago. That's still fantastic.
Yeah the 1.46m doesn't include digital purchases online or codes from bundles. The 400m was of software and hardware. Even then as said in my post VG are way behind in their esitmates.
That's very true. Digital sales are going up.
How is MS involved in this?
