Are you saying the same for the next xbox? It will remain to be seen but I'm sure there will still be a decent leap. The jumps are becoming less, but they will still be noticeable and ray tracing should make a decent difference. Plus the SSD. I think if that's you're attitude you will be pleasantly surprised.
Every time I see Kratos my heart jumps for a different reason. Haha
Slight confusion:
"100 million is obviously a very notable landmark for any console," he begins. "We've only done it once before." says Ryan.
But I thought they have done it twice before? PS2 @ 155 million and PS1 @ 102 million?
I wish you would put "US" or "EU" or whatever in the title.
Agreed. We really need a major overhaul in AI design, which has been stagnant for a long time. Think about how game changing it would be to have teams of enemies working well together to fight you, not just following scripted and predetermined routes. Forcing you as a gamer to out think the opponents rather than recognising their set patterns. Playing against AI that actually feels human in their intelligence will be a huge thing for the industry.
Metroid Prime 4 is coming. Ring Fit Adventure is a game that helps you get fit too! There are lots of weird and wonderful curios on the Switch. So many games that some often slip us by. It doesn't matter if some of the games are "ports". There are games that are on PC and Switch only which are great for people who don't play on PC (a fair few including me). Some people like to sit in ivory towers and throw stones at Nintendo. I'll happily chuckle to myself an continue en...
You have to wonder if metacritic is thinking of some sort of system like steam has when it comes to review bombing.
This person is a legend who needs duly awarding.
Agreed. It is truly terrible. The best we can hope for now is games "inspired by" Konami IP's, like Bloodstained, Visage (in the style of what P.T./Silent Hills could have been) etc etc.
30fps will be standard going forward. While 60fps would be cool, graphics will always be the option devs go for as graphics sell games.
Machine Head, nice. Only down side to these sorts of songs is having to down-tune my guitar every time 😁
What I mean is it's easy for people to simply make themselves looks good by buying loads of quick and easy platinum games. People actually do this. I have no doubt over people having personal achievements.
When trophies started they meant something. A way for gamers to get extra challenges out of games and extend their longevity. The system has become something of a joke now.
The only way we can stop this happening is by not buying the game, and being vocal to Ubi about why. Enough people were vocal to EA for them to U turn, the same can happen if enough people kick up a fuss. We're always going to get those idiots with more money than sense that will buy stupid things because they are impatient and the stuff is there to buy, but if enough of us disgusted gamers are vocal enough, in enough numbers then maybe devs will listen. Just maybe. But the chance is ther...
As a console gamer, I've barely touched PC other than a couple of Rollercaoster Tycoons, The Sims, Dungeon Keeper, FIFA 98 and Sim City. Luckily Baldur's Gate is finally coming to console now so I will get to try it, but I would be genuinely interested in trying a Fallout 1 and 2 bundle. Know very little about them. How do they play?
Well yes, you're buying it knowing that it has less power. I think most people are either buying it a) as a handheld or b) for the exclusives. Then you have the people who c) buy it because it's a Nintendo console. I've not seen kids pumped up for a console since the wii.
The article makes some valid arguments, and then theres this:
"If you want a less powerful system, there’s no reason not to get the Nintendo Switch."
Why would you WANT a less powerful system? I'm sure there are people who don't *mind* that it has less power, given that it's a hybrid/portable machine, but I can't imagine anyone actively seeking it out.
"I can't get an Xbox One X, it's just too powe...
As a gamer I agree, but I think if the Switch was for a child, it would be an ideal main console. I met a couple of families on holiday who had lifs and they were mad wanting a Switch. But yeah as a family console it would also be ideal. Anyone else, the perfect companion system. PS4 & Switch is the perfect combo until the PS5 comes along.
Yoda.....is that you? XD
