A Gran Turismo game on Vita could really turn heads. Polyphony Digital have always shown they know exactly how to push the bar when it comes to graphics and physics. If they create a full experience on the Vita I'm confident with the right marketing it could give the Vita a massive boost. Personally I doubt it will be PS4...Polyphony take their time with development, and no GT game has been released early in a console cycle. I salivate at the possibility of raising the bar on Vita gr...
Great review. Looks like fun!
What a rubbish review. It slates the game without explaining why and chooses instead to spend three quarters of the review talking about plasters. This is a good game. The review is pathetic. I can't believe video game journalism has gone so bad. When did how a game played and lasted become so unimportant?
As we are in Europe P4G isn't out yet. However there's nothing to say it won't feature in the 2013 list ;-)
Thinking outside the box a little...and I don't often comment, but maybe the vita would benefit from a monthly instalment style pricing model. When I got my iPhone 4 it was on contract as I am on a low income. I was that desperate for a vita I resorted to brighthouse. Ipads have a monthly contract option and everyone who I know who has an iPad is on a pay monthly scheme. In the midst of a recession paying £200 for a vita is a lot of money. Mobile phones have eaten up so much of the m...
I kind of agree with everyone on pricing. It's not that the Vita isn't worth the asking price, it is and the tech is absolutely mind blowing and way beyond anything mobile phones can currently do, but the fact is we are in a recession and not that many people can afford one. The only way I got mine is by getting a Brighthouse account for the Vita and a 24studio account for games and memory cards as I simply am not financially able to put up £300+ to get the console, games and mem...
Vita makes perfect sense to me. My eyes don't work together in a way that can view 3D anyway and this is the case for (I think) about 8% of the population.
Vita on the other hand is coming in at an aggressive price and hopes to deliver a 'console like' experience on the move. This makes perfect sense for me as I often feel guilty when my partner is at home using our TV to play the playstation, and instead resort to iphone gaming. With the Vita I could play the bes...
That says NPG on the title screen. It's not that difficult to get it right...is it?? Anyway, NGP and 3DS, like PSP and DS are aimed at different consumer bases, so graphical comparisons don't really stand up. The 3DS is actually rendering three images at once (two on the top screen for the 3D effect, one on the bottom) whereas the NGP is only generating one, however it is obvious from screens and specs that the NGP is WAY more powerful than the 3DS. Surely you don't need a video t...
I'm waiting for a price drop for KZ3 anyway...I don't really like online gaming (I'm weird like that) and after COD: MW I'm much more weary about single player campaigns in multiplayer focused games. It doesn't really matter how long the campaign is for most, as long as you actually enjoy it.
I swear whoever thinks up these Sony adverts is on crack. I mean they're always weirder than a man with boobs dressed as a tampon.
Well, I'm sold. Provided I don't have to sell my kidney, liver and right arm to afford one that is. Looks like the power claims are true, looks amazing!
I think the sweet spot would be £250, then it would seriously be competing with the 3DS for value. Unfortunately, knowing Sony more recently, they'll probably sell it for over £300...about £320-330 I think. Then they'll hold onto that price as long as they possibly can before dropping it to the sub-£300 mark. I just hope they have learned from the PS3, that it will only start selling properly if the price is right, and not way too much, as was with the PS3. I think...
Too little too late for me. Just ordered my iphone 4. Maybe I'll be around if they make an xperia ps phone 2 with better and more comparible specs. The fact that it has dedicated gaming buttons IMO does not mean that it will automatically be better at games.
£229 or even £199 is too much in my opinion. I think around £179 is the sweet spot, but this will still sell like porn as it's new tech. I can't even view stuff in 3D due to my eyesight so £200 odd quid for tech that is not even equivalent to the wii is too much of a hard sell for me. I'll wait for a price drop thanks.
Oh and Sony...this is your chance. If they could equal or undercut the 3DS price they *might* actually be in with a shot this t...
This is a prime example of cheating the system is cheating yourself. I have put hundreds of hours into gaining (relatively poor in comparison to others) trophies, and I worked hard for what I have achieved. Anyone who is sad enough to use a cheat to 100% loads of games to try and make it to the top of leader boards really has no life. No life at all!
This article is stupid. It sounds like they've decided to pick random estimates out of their head. Eurogamer states over 1.5 million Move controllers so far have been sold in Europe, exceeding expectations and they potentially have to increase hardware production to cope with the demand. I think a closer estimate would be around the million mark, and that's being pessimistic, as the US numbers are often fairly similar to the collaborative numbers of Europe. The author clearly hasn'...
I cannot view things in 3D which is somewhat disappointing as I have a stigmatism and lazy eye. It's a shame because the 3DS is a really exciting prospect, but I for one am planning to try and get my eyesight corrected in any case, so hopefully only seeing 2D won't last forever for me.
Considering they're trying to appeal to a wider (and younger) audience with things like Kinect....surely this is BAD?? I mean if someone buys the new X-Box and Kinect for their six year old when it comes out and the console is moved a bit and it scratches the disc to buggery there are gonna be major tantrums!
I'd say it's a PS3 3D ad....looks like it should be. The PS4 being added in is just rubbish. Sony wouldn't announce the PS4 when they're nearing breaking even in console sales with Microsoft...that would just be ludicrous.
Pretty much sums up my opinion of the reveal in hilarious fashion. When the PS4was announced and rumours touted similar specs I was interested to see what Microsoft would come up with. Now I'm confident PS4 has it. Microsoft have tried to go more mainstream with the all in one ethos. They seem to be forgetting that nearly everyone (in the UK at least) has Sky. Or Virgin. Or a set top box that has a hard drive and can record. Gamers care about games. And the reveal lacked this. Forza 5 doe...
