Well, virtually everyone that has played the game have expressed nothing but positivity for the game.
Surely not all of them know it's developed by the devs who left infinity ward.
I was literally drinking some soda when that happened. That was the holy sh** moment for me in this trailer.
I can already see the machinima potential for the game.

Even though everyone in my family has a ton of fun with kinect, I agree.
I don't see a think like kinect fitting into a game like this at all. Head-tracking, maybe, but for me, I like to exclusively use my controller for shooter games.

I agree, that really does sound like the perfect mix-up.
this isn't an episodic game.
there's a tv show that goes along with it, but the rest of the experience is a max payne-esque game. That really doesn't compare to two souls, where it's mainly a movie rather than a game.
Did you even watch the reveal or watch the interview? They even acknowledged that it's not even remotely close to what two souls is when they got tweeted a question.

Them saying they plan to take the best of max payne and the best of alan wake together for quantum break gets me excited.

Honestly, you haven't noticed the large majority of xbox one reviews/impressions that have been submitted over the past few days that all nearly criticize the kinect for its spotty voice recognition, it's user interface, and it's lack of games as well? And those get approved without a report in sight.
