I really do dig how ms's re-releases are not just hd re-releases. Love the full engine overhauls, among other improvements.

Even when it comes to Halo, it's always nice to jump into a big team 8v8 match on occasion, but Halo will always be perfect when it's 4v4.
And after having played titanfall for a few quick hours at my friend's place, 6v6 seems just the right amount for that game as well.
I'm guessing because they prefer the xbox ecosystem and its exclusives?
And most of my friends like to stay within one online network for easy communication/playing.

I already have the xbox one but a ton of my friends and colleagues at work are just waiting on a cheaper xbox one. But I imagine an official cut won't happen for a while.

do you not know the real reason why companies hold closed alpha/beta tests sometimes?
It's primarily for server tests and info collection on other more important things so that they can ensure a smooth and stable launch. It's not to show off textures.
And I'm not fooled. If it's an alpha test, then it's an alpha test. I don't care what they call it as long as they hold some kind of test to test stability. And how ...

steam will end up like ouya. Over-hyped to extremes yet will fall short of expectations and will falter in sales.
For most people, it will still be console vs traditional pc.

vgchartz is a nice indicator of the general trend of sales, but it comes nowhere near of exact and accurate numbers.
the website always makes large adjustments everytime official numbers are released.
You could tell when the website just adjusted their xbox one numbers all the way to 2.9 million from <2.5 right after ms released their 3 million xbox one units sold statement.
