It's not over for XBOX, but they need to do something like sell it without kinect or cut the price. It's not that hard to figure out that the ps4 is more powerful(going by specs). I know that the most powerful console has never been the best selling console, but the ps4 is more powerful AND cheaper.

Halo would've come out without XBOX. It was first shown at a Macworld conference. Though it probably wouldn't have been as big as it is.

The problem is microsoft doesn't have any good game developers besides the halo and forza guys. But I agree with you, instead of paying to block this game from playstation, microsoft could've had another big budget game AND would still get Titanfall anyway. Or maybe they should've spent a little more on the xbox hardware and put a decent gpu in the xbox1.
A velociraptor won't even do 300MB per sec minimum. And they're actually 2.5 inch drives in a heatsink that makes them fit 3.5 inch hard drive slots. They're taller than 9.5 mm though.
The higher the resolution, the less AA is needed because there's less jaggies.
I wouldn't call a $550 machine a high end gaming pc, unless valve is going to sell them at a loss. High end video cards cost that much. (just the video card) Doesn't high end mean top of the line stuff?
Any "high end" pc will have a graphics card that uses GDDR5 ram. DDR3 is system memory, the GDDR5 ram is on the video card.
you need a monitor that supports true 120 fps. Most monitors and TVs are 60hz so it will look the same as 60 frames even if you can get 100+fps. The TVs that say they are 120hz or 240hz are just using some kind of frame interpolation trick .

What do think of violence in video games? Do you think they are conditioning us to be murderers? I like shooting people in face in video games but in real life seeing someone shot in the face is not very fun for me. I'm not advocating rape games or what ever but they are just games.
If kinect is broken, IT WON'T SHOW UP AS BEING PLUGGED IN. Isn't that what is being asked? Will they sell it separately, or will you have to buy a whole new $500 system. Or maybe Microsoft will give one for free?

Yes exactly. If someone (like GFWL) tries to rip you off and there are others (steam, GOG, amazon, etc.) that are competitively pricing games than they probably will fail (GFWL). On consoles, it is closed off so there will be no competition in digital sales.

I think that's the point. XBOX gets the majority of it's sales in the US. So if they lose US sales, it doesn't look good for them.
