I liked Yakuza 4 and Infamous 2 for the ps3
I wonder if MS didn't try to charge for live on pc before and just did this if they would've been the accepted DRM instead of steam.

The PS3 is only competitive because it leads in Japan? But in the same sentence you say Japan is absolutely irrelevant? Obviously not for SONY. I'm pretty sure PS3 is doing better in asia which is much bigger than just japan.

The game kinda was made to play online. A lot of the skills from d2 like the barbarian shouts, paladin auras, were support skills and the game was more fun with groups. Plus you can pk
that should be enough to play the game decently. I played Oblivion when it came out on a P4 with x1950 and it looked better than console versions.
I read somewhere that Microsoft tried to get a patent for windows for some kind of subscription fee based on how much you used your computer/windows but it was denied so it won't be happening that soon.
the physics looked better in the original crysis and warhead. pretty much everything had physics in cryengine2 but from what I've seen a lot of stuff doesn't in crysis2.(like they're stuck to the floor)

GFWL games that have achievements already require an xbox live account. Well not require but if you want to save your game it's required. I was getting errors trying to sign into GFWL for batman aa until I made an account on the xbox live site. This will be a little more convenient hopefully
the DRM in the witcher 2 was seriously broken. It was causing all kinds of problems for people. Some couldn't even play the game and it made the game take forever to load.

yes consoles games look great considering the hardware they are using but pc will always have the best graphics because of things like triple sli/crossfire with 1200 watt power supplies. I think it's a little overkill though since the software hasn't really been pushing graphics that much.
