not sure but maybe localization holds a lot of the games back. I wouldn't want to buy a game that I don't understand.
you can pick up the regular edition for like $15 and download the patch to upgrade it to the enhanced edition free from the website.
yea consumers vote with their wallets. If all these people start stocking up on live cards will ms raise the price even more?
for me it's about not supporting something i don't agree with. the only reason ms can get away with charging for live is because that's the only way to play online on xbox. they tried to charge for online play on pc but failed, because there are alternatives that are free(and better) They are charging you to play games that someone else developed with multiplayer built in already
yea I think it has to do with fusion
obviously you would want the game to look the best possible but it's easier to develop one version and port it. Do sony games use openGL vs. directx for 360?
just build one yourself and it's pretty cheap. just get a good power supply and case cause they can be reused if u want to upgrade in the future and cpu and gpu get refreshed constantly. But if u wanna make a gaming pc you should get a decent graphic card too.
don't you think it kinda sucks that they make all this money from live but they keep closing all their game studios? SONY is probably not making as much as MS but sony is the one supporting all their studios. BIOWARE, the company that made one of the best XBOX games and one of the best 360 games was making games exclusively for MS (on consoles) but MS didn't even want to keep them in house. But they want to pay for ridiculous timed dlc and make games for non gamers? Am I the only pers...
I think they should include the dlc and maybe integrate the dlc characters into the game better like being able to talk to them like the other characters or maybe have them as a romance option or something. I don't think its that big of a deal that the first game isn't on the ps3 though(I played ME2 before part1 and also imported a savegame after) most of the me1 carryover stuff is just emails or meeting some character but don't really change anything about the main story of ME2
probably because they can't make money off of pc gaming. MS doesn't really make many games and halo is really popular on pc. They failed trying to charge for online play on pc but they make like a billion dollars a year on xbox live charging people to play games other people make.
I think the heat of the gtx480 aren't as bad as people say. Playing a game i get gets mine to about 70c and idle around 40c. That's cooler than my 8800gtx and 4890 ran.
It uses cerberus network which is run by EA. If it was on gfwl there would never have been free dlc. The only place windows is mentioned is on the system requirements.
they wont have a 4ghz and they don't need too. they just need a good gpu and built in storage mandatory so we wont have games built around a dvd. Intel's extreme edition cpus don't even run at 4 gigz, yes you can oc it but you need a huge hsink/fan or wc and it would end up being expensive and big. (like a matx case or something)
here's a link, it's mentioned at the bottom.
I don't think it related to bulldozer though not sure

try pressing f12 or f11(the one for safe mode menu i think) during boot then highlight disable driver signature enforce
SONY always pushes new technology. Whether you like them or not you can't deny that. SPDIF audio, hdmi, 1080p, blu-ray, oled, etc. They may not have invented all of them but they always try to advance tech which is a good thing.
just buy a 500GB hard drive for like 60-70 dollars and put it in yourself. or get a 640 or 750 if you want more space. Make sure it's 2.5 in. and 9.5mm height
but it has some pretty low res textures. Yes I'm talking about the pc version. But there are plenty of free mods that u can install tho
have fun waiting
