I'm afraid SEGA is out of the console business for good. As one person earlier commented, the saturn nearly ruined them. Later the Dreamcast was a great inexpensive machine but not enough people bought them so SEGA had to pull the plug on consoles altogether. Heck, they're lucky they're still in the game business anyway as so many other companies have dissolved.
This game looks incredible. Loved the first 2, and I don't want to have to wait 3 years to get the third. I wish the series sold better in the states, so there would be no doubt about the localization.
I have both a 360 and PS3 and decent PC. I have more games for 360 mostly due to it being out longer, but in this coming year my PS3 collection will probably grow. My only beef with the 360 is its lack of hardware reliability. I usually only buy PC exclusive games for my PC, or games that were designed for PCs mainly i.e. RTSs, RPGs,Sim games etc.

The headline is erroneous. Gamespot didn't say don't trust other reviews. They just said that they would rather play with the multiplayer longer so they could give a more accurate review. They didn't say anything about other reviews, the guy writing the article made that up. You should actually read the reason on gamespot rather than trusting whatever this douche says.

As long as the narrative is as good as that of the first, I'm really excited for the sequel. If, however they just pull something out their a** to continue the franchise, I will be very upset.
Take the game in the context of its setting. There are all sorts of gene altering serums and plasmids that give you special powers. The vitachamber is another one of those applications.
How it functions in the game, just saves you from having to go back to a checkpoint and try again. It's a way of making the game accessible to people that might get turned away from having to retry so many times.
Oh well, even if that's true there are a lot of other games to fill the void.

Until a game convincingly immerses me in it's environment, to where I'm not aware of the outside world, better graphics are just eyecandy. Sure I appreciate good visuals, but I judge a game more by its gameplay than its looks.

Darksiders is actually a kind of futuristic setting and plays very much like God of War, and I think it's supposed to launch this year.

These are some of the best looking, most fluid battles I've ever seen in an RPG. Like FFXII but more cinematic in its execution. I'm extremely excited for the battles, and in JRPGs that's something that usually doesn't matter to me.

Hmmm... I'm not sure what to think of these reviews.
The first one was too hard imo, though it had some of the zaniest boss fights I'd ever played. Especially the one in the grocery store with the crazy owner and his shopping cart of death!
Really though it's great to see it go multiplat as more people will be able to enjoy it.
First of all you don't need to insult people that buy and play Halo, and second of all you don't need to bash Americans. I'm sure many people that are looking forward to Killzone 2 have also enjoyed Halo.
It probably won't sell as well mainly due to lack of brand recognition. The majority of people who buy games probably don't frequent game sites and don't know of Killzone 2.

I don't really care for the Tekken franchise. The first one was okay in a time to compete with Virtua Fighter, but as the series progressed, I liked it less and less. The storylines are ridiculous and the combat styles and characters aren't very interesting. For a Namco developed fighter, I'll take Soul Calibur.
