Bottom line is the 360 will have some great games to play in 2010. I personally would rather talk about the merits of each game etc and which ones top my list.

I might buy the Natal as well. The reason I say "might" is because it isn't out yet and I have no real idea how good or bad it will be. It could be completely revolutionary or it could simply become a conduit for crap, uninvolving games.

The only thing we know for certain at this present time is that Forza 3 is a great game.
We'll also know if GT5 is a great game when its released.
Its not out in the UK, where I'm based, until January 8th. Is it out in the US yet? If you mean Japan hasn't it been getting great reviews there?

I know what you're saying but I find it quite refreshing to have people argue over the merits of a game without being swayed by what system its on.
I'm not aiming this at anyone in particular but I find it hilarious that loads of PS3 fanboys attack the demo for the supposed God of War 3 competitor, Bayonetta, as being rubbish. Yet when a demo comes out for GT5 they're "but its not the finished article...hasn't got this, hasn't got that".
In truth I agree with the opinion that a demo is often far from the finished article. However, I'd like some equivalence in the use of that notion.
The key to this is Xbox Live. The reason that they are willing to sell arcades at this price is that are hoping they can hook people into the Xbox live community. This will ensure loyalty for the 720 and beyond
I don't think you can have a game on the list simply for not selling as much as another. By all accounts Forza 3 is brilliant.
Killzone 2 doesnt sell as well as Halo but doesnt stop it from being a good game.
The length of the single player campaign gets shorter every day.
Whilst I agree with the point that peripherals can divide the user base. Microsoft will probably use the juggernaut that is Halo to help Natal penetrate the market. Its the next best thing Microsoft can do. I'm completely undecided about how big Natal will be. However, the Wii has shown its worth a gamble.

I think the distinction I would make is that the Xbox 360 is heavily driven by its online community. Games that tend to drive online community interaction are FPS (clans, team deathmatches etc). It doesn't mean that other game genres (e.g Forza 3) aren't very much appreciated.
Second point....if MW2 only took you 5 or 6 hours then maybe you should have played it on a suitable difficulty setting? Hardened or Veteran...

I think this game is bound to be really good. How could it not be?
But I would like to note that for those saying "its only a demo it doesnt reflect the final game" maybe should apply the same notion to Bayonetta.

Both consoles are successful. Lets leave it at that.

What I find interesting about all this sales nonsense is that just because the Wii is miles ahead it doesnt mean the 360 and PS3 will crumble to dust.
The same goes for whether or not the PS3 or 360 claims 2nd place this gen. At the end of the day all 3 will survive and have been successful. All this gesticulation regarding weekly/monthly npd or vgchartz figures is pointless.
PS3 is only 5.7m behind the Xbox 360...can we celebrate Christmas now?
