I cant wait either, love the Hitman series. The second one, Silent Assassin, is still one of my favourite games of all time. I played Blood Money but had to stop after the first couple of missions to play CoD4 and now GTA4. Will get back to it soon though.
The video quality was poor so a discussion on graphics is pointless, but am I the only one to feel like the gameplay is missing the wow factor of the first Resistance, the gameplay seemed generic. I know its a sequal and not as original as the first but I still feel kind of disappointed by the first gameplay video. I'm sure Insomniac will still come out with a quality product but so far MS and Epic are doing a better job getting me excited for Gears 2 compared to Sony and Insomniac for Resist...
What exactly is left for the PS3 this year after MGS4 besides Resistance 2. FF13, Versus 13, God of War 3, and Gran Turismo 5 aren't coming out until 2009.
Not doubting the PS3 but after everyone calling 2008 the year of the PS3 I think the year of the PS3 has to be pushed back to 2009.
Did any of you see the surprise at the very end of the credits for the Iron Man movie?
Ive been playing GTA4 now on the 360 for nearly 10 hours and I've yet to see any real pop-ups occur. Guess Saints Row was so bad for it, a little bit of it in GTA4 seems like nothing in comparison.
Yes I am definitely sarcastic. I think I turned on the tv option for like a min now im too busy stealing cop cars and hunting criminals. I should call the game Niko: The Bounty Hunter.
Worse. News. Ever. I'm off to trade in my 360 and all my games so I can get GTA IV and a PS3 right now.
Agreed. With so many amazing games coming out I think I may soon need to live in a carboard box with my hdtv and xbox 360 just to buy them all.
Prophit? Is that another word that's been recently added to urban dictionary?
Look at Shenmue, that game cost $70 million to make, but no one would ever think it. $100 million is probably a good guess considering the money spent on making this game as cinematic as possible. Also take into account this may include the development of Rockstar Table Tennis and the Rage Engine used for GTAIV.
1. Not all of the development expenses went towards the graphics. There is a reason why it cost $100 million to make and has some of the best voice acting, cinematics and dialogue ever seen in a video game.
2. Graphics in Killzone 2 better than GTAIV is up for debate. Yes single character models may look better but Killzone is alot more scripted, less AI, less detailed, and not an open world game. Take into consideration all the detail that GTAIV has, not just right in front of y...
Definitely, though piracy may hurt the man it helps out the little guy. There were so many albums I would never have bought if it wasn't for downloading them from Oink to hear them first.
Too bad, would have been great as cheap, or even better free like the pc, live arcade or psn game.
Jahcure, that was hilarious. I loved Dragonball Z but after the Cell Games it got kind of foolish, the power levels and everything meant nothing after awhile.
The look of this game is reminiscent of Skies of Arcadia on the Dreamcast. Can't wait until it actually comes out.
Juggernaut is a horrible perk, they should have taken it out with the variety map pack. You always hear people complain about it so why keep it. As for martyrdom it's not so bad as it used to be. If your a good player then you know there is a good chance someone may have it and use you're own skill to avoid, though taking it out wouldn't be a big loss either.
Nicely put heyheyhey, definitely bubbles for you. PS3 fanboys take note, this is how you validate your opinion and properly show how you like the PS3 more than the 360.
I will have to disagree with you though heyheyhey personally, not in general, because I like the games coming out for the 360 in 2008 more. Big fan of both Splinter Cell and Assassins Creed, looking forward to Conviction. Halo Wars looks like it could be fun, Command and Conquer 3 on the 360 was surprisingly en...
Have to agree fully with fallen angel but add that if MS wants to move more hardware one thing they can do is take advantage of the huge back catalog they have in comparison to their competitors. At EB Gears of War is still $60 new. Make Gears, Bioshock, Oblivion, Halo 3 $20-$25 platinum hits and you're sure to see more people picking the system up with a vast library of cheap games.
Haha am I getting disagrees because people don't agree that Ninja Theory is a good developer or are a certain brand of fanboys a bunch of sore losers because they will miss out on a possible exclusive.
Haha I think its the newest word added to urbandictionary.com. They're always adding some crazy words.
