Yep EA has def become more consumer oriented the last couple of years. Don't forget Dante's Inferno and their EA partners program publishing great games like Burnout Paradise which has tons of free dlc. Who would of thought EA were capable of such a thing a few years ago.

Hope this release date is close to what gamestop has it listed. Yes its multiplatform and no im not some fanboy, if a game is good, a game is good, doesn't matter what system it's on and I hope to god after the new trailer they released this game is good.

Agree, I don't know why everyone says Gears 2 multiplayer is broken. Yes, some matches have bad lag and should consider ping more when picking matches like CoD4, BUT the party system makes playing with friends so much easier than the first Gears. Both the Gears2 and R2 ad do a good job of intriguing the player. Already finished Gears2 campaign and played many hours of multiplayer and every time I see the commercial it makes me want to pick up the controller and play again.

I wont be buying any other Activision games but I will be purchasing Modern Warfare 2, but only because it is Infinity Ward and I love their games. Have yet to get a Treyarch CoD game and dont think I ever will, that one was def a rental. Rockband all the way for me, cant keep track of the Guitar Hero Metallica, Aerosmith, Van halen, Oasis, Foo Fighters, Motley Crue, The Hansons, Jonas Brothers, and whatever other bands they can milk next.
