At least it doesn't go on and on like the PC versions...but yeah, it would be good to not have to worry about how much time you've got and just spend an hour then save and then plan your next evil move...

It's more of a challenge to get that Space, Economic or Culture victory isn't it? If someone attacks me, I'm slow to forgive....(usually gets me killed too..)

Wonderful game....So glad they made a console version...even avid PC gamers can't deny this one worked well on a console, perfectly simplified for casuals as well as civ lovers.

Yeah Turning Point had so much potential in concept but fell pretty flat. This one has a lot of potential too...can they do better? I'd rather Atari don't release a release date so that they can just make sure the game is DONE RIGHT. Alone in the Dark and Turning Point were games that needed A LOT MORE DONE RIGHT. I hope they don't screw this one up too.

What a brilliant idea! LE Bobble Heads! We could have Master Chief, BIg Daddy, Altair, Banjo, Ninja Gaiden, wow...that would be cool!

I'd love to see big bulky Marcus Fenix go up against agile Altair. Smash Bros really brings in all sorts of gamers and is fun even for my 5 year old, so yeah I'd like to see a Microsoft version with non-Nintendo characters. I'm so sick of Kurby, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Mario etc.

Don't you wish that games really had better testing for bugs? I'm playing Alone in the Dark and the bugs and clipping really pull you out of the game experience.

Well I'm not a big fan of boss fights anyway: I think that if they are too hard then it is just a sign of a lazy game-maker who wants to artificially extend the game through sheer difficulty. Japanese game developers are particularly prone to it....

I just finished DMC4 so I think I'll wait for awhile. The demo was fun though!

I really hope the next Bond game is great. I saw some photos in the Official mag and the environments look great...just hope the gameplay is there.

Maybe this one? http://www.e3expo.com/ I think it is run by Gametrailers...their vids are pretty good.

"Fable 2's ability to ‘talk’ to not just one but THREE XBLA games is an ingenious concept, with money earned through these arcade games going directly into Fable 2. “Mage Dice”, “Wizard’s Tower” and “Keystone” are the names of these titles. But what exactly do they entail? Hopefully E3 will shed some light on the mystery."

Let's hope they are more than the marketing hype some games had pre-release on the internet (They have to be more than the Assassin's Creed website's...

I just hope that what they (or anyone else for that matter) show that's new is REAL and not just pre-rendered video that will look nothing like the final product..:)

5834d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yeah, that could be so. I'm still hoping for some surprises...E3, unlike most private announcements, still has audiences watching to see so it is is free publicity for them.

5834d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

Do you think E3 will go back to being big again, or as small as last year? I hope they have SOME new game announcements to make it more exciting. Maybe the next Thief game? There were rumours of that game being made.... Or maybe another Hitman game more up to date with this gen consoles? Assassin's Creed 2 details? Or another new exciting IP altogether?

I guess they keep releasing them...so it keeps the game alive. I wish some games would release more single player missions.

I think both of them were full of hot air. Along with Telstra et al.

Totally agree.

Yeah I agree. The whole licencing thing is a pain in intself. And waht about having time limited downloads. What if you have things to do or something comes up. It's more like renting, I guess. As long as you aren't paying too much it's okay, but if I pay for a full game I want it forever (or to be able to trade/ sell it as my property) not as some limited accessibility.

I wonder how Europe is with broadband...are they behind like us? In any case, there are a lot of places on earth that won't be able to properly use digital distribution for awhile, if ever.
