I hate sitting at a computer to play games. I know some have it hooked up to their tvs, and that there are a lot of adventure and strategy titles that console gamers miss out on, but for me a wireless controller and a Lazy-boy are the way to go.
Also the number of muck ups I've had with games on computer has permanently put me off computer gaming. I'm glad that consoles have 'grown up' and can now display more realistic settings and more mature games. I wasn't really taken wit...
I've only played it once so far, but enjoyed it without being 'wowed'. I have yet to try the other classes but I do wonder if casual-style gamers will get into trying to work out level ups and equipment menus as well as camera angles....
This one looks very generic. Location even looks like somewhere I've been before 100 times. Yawn. Pass.
Oh man...you mean the Halo 2 that was so LIMITED that they had more of them left years later than the standard. I think the standard version was the more limited one!
Which one? According to a thread on xbox.com.au if it is released here in Oz it will be different for the EB version and the GAME version. I'm confused and would like to fuse elements of both! 'IF' it is granted approval after being refused classification.
I love my Big Daddy, and the Alone in the Dark soundtrack is fantastic. The art book for Assassin's Creed was great...but you had to buy it separate. But a lot of them like Bad Company throw a nice tin at you and a few weapons, or a making of dvd which just isn't much (though it depends on price).
I'd like to see something like illustrated or cg backstories for the games. Imagine a Resident Evil 5 'catch-up' with illustrations or done in CG that give you a 'previously on Res...
Castle Crashers looks kind of cool...
Are you a big tennis fan? To be honest I prefer Wii sports tennis with mates over technical-minded tennis games, but then I'm only a casual tennis watcher.
I'd be happier to pay for a Live that has levels of player distinction (family, casual, hardcore, pro) so that the people who want to act like asses can do so in their category but for people with kids like me I can have them play without drunk songs, swearing and abuse.
Also more policing of the service...when you have strip UNO going on (a game my wife or kids might play), you have a problem.
It does make you wonder why we pay more for less....
I'm not sure that it is good value for just the online gaming aspect. I think the price needs to come down or services need to jump up.
Sony will keep bashing the 360 with the free online aspect too. Since they want people more involved online then perhaps dropping the price would be wise, despite the costs involved?
While I agree that there were some elements in Uncharted that should have been smoother, I love that game. In fact it's one of two games I've actually kept on the PS3...I do most my gaming on the 360. It doesn't innovate so much, but Alone tries hard to innovate and it works sometimes and fails other times miserably. One I found fun, the other one was just frustrating.
I'm afraid Alone isn't in the same league as Uncharted...even though there are some things Uncharted needed...
Yeah...might as well just leave it alone :)
They may have been reacting to the frustration and lack of fun...but there are good things about the game...just not enough to want to play it!
I think you need to have a debug unit or something to play the demo? In other words be in the media....
Good thing Resident Evil 5 is coming!
Yeah I loved the soundtrack! More special editions should include that too!! (if the sound is good...)
Yeah this game needed some serious reworking in some places. Anybody play it and actually enjoy it out there?
Award for most dissappointing game so far this year.
I have to admit I'm more of an arcade race player, so this will be interesting as it wants to incorporate both.
I was hoping they would try Getaway again. I know it had its problems last gen, but they might have been able to get it right this time. At least it was an open world game NOT IN THE US for once.
I wonder if people will have the patience to find out all that you can do. I think games do need to be immediately satisfying to most to get them to stick with it...or they may lose them. I'm all for giving a game a good try, but with a huge amount released at the same time, that may not happen with most.
This game was fun just as a standard game but it didn't grab me enough to get me playing the demo again and again. Hopefully I'll get a copy of it when it is released and t...
