"Wolfenstein would definietly be a story-driven shooter that will be presented by way of various “interlinked missions”."
It is also rumoured that there may be an 'open-world' feel to it and an 'alternate universe' aspect, so it'll be interesting to see how the story with supernatural elements and open world feel will go together!!!
I'm just over the moon that this game has come back onto the radar for 360!! I would get the 360 version over the PS3 version anyways....for achievements for one thing :)
I'm not sold on digital distribution, so if they head too far that way, they had better release hard copy game version too.
All consoles are created equal...some are more equal than others. Seriously, the Xbox and PS3 both have some fantastic games, no need for fanboyism every news item about one or the other.
What we need is an open world crash racer in a city other than in America. From Need For Speed to the latest Burnout it's always the same environments. Boring.
The 360 arcade pack is actually selling below $300AUD at the moment at some stores. So much better value than the Wii, even without a HDD. (And Yes I have a Wii)
Guy can't sleep, goes to soemwhere in the Pacific Northwest...you know one of those scary lumber towns, finds out his nightmares are real.
Or the game could just be an urban myth....it is taking forever.
I still hope that there will be some surprise announcements too. Open-world Wolfenstein seems like an interesting one...
I was excited about the Aussie-made Star Wars Force Unleashed on Wii, because waving a lightsabre around would be kind of cool, but the graphics on the system really get me down and I'll probably get the 360 version.
Imagine having motion control and the power of the 360 or PS3!
A bit of fun never hurt anyone. Haven't you ever wished a cool game from another console (or PC for that matter) gets released on your console of choice? I have a PSP and lately all cool games (bar God of War) are going to DS. So I always wish that some more games were on PSP.
Some Sony site should have fun and do a Top 10 360 games they would like on the PS3. I'm sure there would be plenty if people were honest.
I'm sure the PS3 would like some Microsoft games too. My ideal would be only to have to buy one console to get all the good games....since that isn't possible I've had to pay too much getting both PS3 and 360!
Still without competition we might not have some of these gems that are exclusive....
Seems to me that E3 is at the the top of the top 10 times to do top 10 lists for the top 10 game websites as well! So the site is in good company.
E3 is about projecting into the future and getting excited about games and with the downgrading of E3 these sorts of lists get me more excited and remind me there are some great games that we might find out more about. I hope we get Wolfenstein details! An open world Wolfenstein...interesting....
I'm really hoping it isn't. It is a great concept, and a bit different to WW2 shooters.
Signed.
Besides God of War there is precious little of quality on the PSP and yes the DS is getting everything, including the next James Bond game. The PSP is capable of more so why has it got so few games? The DS kills it for sales, that's why.
I agree Assassin's, DMC and more should be made for PSP too and Sony should do something about encouraging game-makers to make games on its system. The PSP does so much more than a DS (that hasn't been 'upgraded'), and the only part of mine I ...
A blown up Berlin would really suck since now COD 5: World At War is heading into Berlin. Maybe Paris? What other 'city' did the Nazis occupy that might be where they would locate this game?
In any case I've been looking forward to this game for ages and hope to hear more! Good find.
My kids still love Dragonball Z. We still have the Dragonball Z "battleship" electronic game. I wonder if it is a collector thing these days...
Yeah I like that it is so relaxing. So many games are about getting your blood pumping and having to be aware of a lot, this one is more about thinking and is easy to sit back and play.
As the review says, swapping the order of units (as it is turn based) can be fiddly but other than that the controls feel perfect on a console. I was surprised myself.
You've got to be kidding. There was barely anything new. How long are we waiting for Home? It looks like in the space of time since Sony announced it (a long long time ago), Microsoft has been able to copy and will probably get their version up and running before Home ever arrives.
I love my PS3 but I wish Sony would stop announcing things that are WAY down the road and overpromising.
As for lack of RPGs, I don't mind; not really into them.
