n4g only allows negative Sony news if its clickbait

Well, at least you finally agree with the Ubisoft CEO. I'll put up both quotes for comparison.

Ubisoft - "What we see is that Nintendo customers don’t buy Assassin’s Creed. Last year, we sold in very small numbers."

Yours - "Mario's fanbase is not on Sony or Microsoft consoles any more than Call of Duty's fanbase is on Nintendo consoles."

And yet you lambasted Ubisoft for saying what Nintendo customers buy/don...

Did you actually just say that the only reason LittleBigPlanet sells well is because it is a PlayStation exclusive while touting the sales of 2 Nintendo exclusives as proof that Nintendo gamers do buy mature games? How exactly does that work? Either gamers are buying LittleBigPlanet, Monster Hunter, and Bayonetta because they like those games OR they are buying them because they are exclusives. You cannot have 2 different reasons for the same outcome and just interchange them based on your...

"PS fans and MS fans both like realistic shooters and cinematic games. Neither side, however, are paying any attention to cat suit Mario in SM3DW, and would rather laugh at it than play it in the majority of cases regardless of system."

Basically, you agree with Ubisoft when they say that Nintendo gamers don't buy mature games when you make stupid statements like this. You cannot have it both ways. Either gamers like games regardless of what system they own o...

I see how the diehard Nintendo fans supported the release of the "New"3DS and I wish that they would show some of that support for the idea of a new home console. Would Nintendo releasing an improved model of the Wii U, comparable to the PS4/XBox One in power, really be that bad? New first party games could all be playable on the original Wii U so that early adopters wouldn't be being abandoned. The new power would mean that games could be developed for all the consoles, not j...

There is nothing wrong with not having enough money, but it is a problem when you blog about how others need to buy a Wii U to support Platinum games. Or that it is understandable when Nintendo forces consumers to pay extra to be able to charge their new New 3DS. Or that people shouldn't be upset with Nintendo's continued practice of incremental changes of their handhelds, basically forcing consumers to pay twice for the same thing if they want to play the new games released for it....

You will be getting an XBox One when Scalebound comes out though, right? As a Platinum fan, you blogged saying "Platinum's fans need to start supporting Platinum's games regardless of system instead of condemning them for putting one of their games on just one system." Otherwise, you are just expecting people to buy a Wii U for 1 game while you yourself won't buy a console for just 1 game.

"although, I rarely see Steam gamers complaining when they have to pay for certain aesthetics in Team Fortress 2"

Probably because Team Fortress 2 is a free-to-play game. Is it too much to expect these opinion pieces to not be written by people who don't understand the difference between free and $60?

It is pretty obvious why Dying Light is getting mediocre review scores - there are zip-lines in the game but no perk that allows you to shoot your handgun why you are using them that .01% of the time. That and you cannot play Texas hold'em in the game. You have those and your FPS game will get a 90+ Metacritic score easily!

Seriously though, Dying Light and Far Cry 3 score the same in my book (Far Cry 2 beats them both). If you liked Dead Island or Far Cry, then you sh...

Can we get this article removed just like another poorly written "5 Reasons Dying Light..." that was taken down from N4G? If you're going to take down articles based on standards, you probably should at least be consistent about it.

ZombiU, Lego City Undercover, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, and Pikmin 3 were the games that made me want to buy a Wii U (the Mario Kart 8 promotion helped too). 2015 will have Zelda, Star Fox, and Xenoblade Chronicles X so it looks to be a good time for those who are interested in more story-based games to pick up a Wii U.

The entire story is told through cut-scenes in Pikmin 3, which goes against Iwata's statement "Miyamoto has never used many cut-scenes, in his games." Your statement that the cut-scenes only appear when bosses, characters, and new areas appear just proves the point. Anything that is story related in Pikmin 3 - bosses, characters, new areas, missions - is conveyed only through cut-scenes instead of being part of the gameplay. For a RTS like Pikmin 3 that doesn't even allow...

Another excellent "Year in Gaming" video by Malcolm Klock.

I take it that Iwata hasn't played Pikmin 3 since in that game Shigeru Miyamoto advanced the story mostly through cut-scenes. I guess cut-scenes are only bad when your competitors are using them. I wonder if it is possible for Nintendo to not insult everyone else as a way to make themselves look better?

If you want to rush to wonderfulmonkeyman's defense, it might help to actually know what that person has been saying. Otherwise, you just come across as someone blindly coming to the aid of someone who shares your preference in video games. Here is a little refresher - http://n4g.com/user/blogpos...

My god, you are such a Nintendrone. You just couldn't help insulting gamers who play on something other than Nintendo platforms, could you? Do you think Cellar Game Doors were foolish for releasing Rogue Legacy on Sony platforms since apparently Sony gamers don't like classic NES styled games? Was Hotline Miami a commercial failure for releasing on Sony platforms? Why is it that Retro City Rampage, a game designed on a NES development kit, sold the worst on Nintendo platforms? Se...

Bayonetta 2 is a second party game, not a third party game. I do not understand how you cannot know the difference between the two, especially when you repeatedly point out that Nintendo paid for the development of Bayonetta 2 and is the game's publisher. When people talk about third party games, they are referring to games published by EA, Activision, Ubisoft, Capcom, WB, etc. and that are available on all platforms (except Wii U now days).

Bayonetta 2 is published by...

Why is it always someone else's fault instead of Nintendo fans when a Nintendo game does not sell well? There are 7 million Wii U owners out there, why not blame them for not buying Bayonetta 2? Using the old "Nintendo hatred" and "people having a poor choice in games they prefer" is getting a little old.

How exactly is the fact that a sequel being made of Pacific Rim due to its success disqualify it from having spent $165+ million on a non-franchise movie since Inception came out? Did they or did they not spend $180 million on a movie that was not intended to be a franchise at the time? Here is an article talks about the Pacific Rim sequel. http://insidemovies.ew.com/...
