Activision said something earlier this week about the PS3 and Wii versions suffering because the memory wasn't versatile enough to do what they wished with the game.

But the game looks terrible. Amazing control scheme, but terrible graphics.

Some of the pages initially looked grainy, but then I discovered the zoom function, and there are pages designed specifically FOR the Wii.

Take out the Blu-Ray, and it's worth about $300, if that. The graphics chip is modified old technology. The Cell is a master at math calculations, but not much else. The best the system has to offer is a sub-par racing game and a shooter that has grainy textures in the close ups.

I bought my HDTV because I like to watch HD-DVD movies, Discovery HD theater, and stuff from the Video Marketplace in HD, as well as playing the Wii in widescreen (although it's 480p.

the games are FUN. Not the prettiest. Not the most technically demanding. Bunt they are unadulterated fun. We've had a Wii since launch and we STILL have weekly Wii Bowling tournaments.
And if they could do with Twilight Princess what they did on a launch title, there will be more still to come.
And the trailer alone looks better than Resistance.
You know, all the flamers in here like to say how great Killzone is, but you notice none of them are off playing the first one. Guess where I've been spending most of my time the last couple days. Playing HaloCE and Halo 2. The Gameplay is better than Gears and Resistance. The campaigns are longer than Gears, the AI is better than Resistance.
And these are last gen. Halo 3 is set to continue a winning formula.

I run F@H on two PC's, and while my P4 2.8 has a GeForce 6100, my AMD 64 has integrated graphics and runs F@H much faster.
I don't own a PS3, I don't think the PS3 is worth $600, and I think the games it has out are pretty poor considering the power of the system, but as far as processor power goes, it should have a pretty decent advantage, barring the PS3's obvious memory liabilities.
