I usually lean more toward Sony, and while I think it does look good, it's not quite amazing (mainly when compared to Crysis 2, Killzone 3, or Uncharted 2). The other thing to note is that those screens are from multiplayer matches where there is less to render. I'm mainly stating that in relation to Crysis 2 also, just to show that that's at the optimal time when it can focus solely on the small map area. Again, it looks good, but there are justifiable reasons why it's not re...
It looks good, but I wouldn't say phenomenal. The improvements look about on par with the graphical updates of any sequel.
On a side note, I'm really eager to play the Beta to see if it's any better. If I still can't get into it then I'll probably be selling my 360. That's kinda the last title they've got, and most are on PC and 360 so I might as well just get it for PC
From what I've played the console version looks good, and the PC version looks Killzone 3 worthy. No one has to agree, but that's just the way I feel. To me Killzone 3 feels really, but despite the very clean, polished graphics of Crysis 2 the graphics seem very gamey. Also, as a PC gamer, the game it toned down A LOT. The first one was vast with lots of options and versatility, so it feels like a small piece of a much bigger series
Wow. This seems more like a "We can't figure it out, and now our big mouths have resulted in massive backlash because we didn't deliver on graphics or a stable online game." rather than that they've actually found an issue and need to shut it down before launch. If they had actually found the issue, they would either fix it and relaunch it or patch it to combat the massive backlash and ensure they get good sales
I feel like this is in response to the imminent MW3 announcement, even though I feel like it won't matter as much
When none of them are well rounded, allowing for all game play types and they block one of them after the first week because of complaints you need good ones haha
I don't think that's true, I think it's more that they released so many games and changed the formula so much. I mean, think about it, Rock Band has country and other non-Hard Rock and it does phenomenal. Your love for Hard Rock has clouded your judgement young padawan
I still don't understand everyones fascination with Enslaved. The combat was mediocre, the characters were unbearable, and most of my feelings on the game can be summed up from the Zero Punctuation review (it's actually one of the only times I've really agreed with him).
On a happier note, I am enjoying Metro 2033, need to play ot more, and definitely recommend it. If you're seeking a game that's a little harsher than Fallout 3, is tailored more to shoote...
Anyone else notice that she looks remarkably like Chloe from Uncharted...?
Wow, not sports casters think they know video games. Why does everyone think they know videogames? Violence comes from broken households and bad parents. Work on improving those.
Also did anyone else like how all the kids it described were athletes, and how the article tried to glorify athletes, only throwing in school to add to the fact that it was kids. You didn't see any mention any non-athletes get killed now did you? BIAS
I can get past most of the issues on this map (honestly if someone can manage to stay alive to get a copter on it then they totally deserve it because it's hard as heck to stay alive on it). I also think it's easy to move up and attack if you use equipment such as smoke grenades (seriously, I NEVER see anyone use these on the map and whenever i use them my team does pretty well). The spawn system in the whole game is completely broken though because if your team doesn't have someo...
I know that I'm the only one in this category, but I want it to come out December 3rd instead. I have it set to deliver, and if it comes out the 24th and I'm not at school to be able to get it I'm going to be very sad : (
When I asked Target about their ad a few days ago I was told that it would release in early December, which would coincide with the December 3rd mentioned in the article. I'm going with that
I'd say it's somewhere between Uncharted and Batman AA, but not quite Uncharted 2. That said, even though it does look good, it's the extra details that Naughty Dog add in that really make it into something special. For example, none of it was as detailed as the Uncharted 2 city level, and the snow/water effects weren't even comparable.
It uses the Unreal Engine doesn't it? It's looking good
Wow, I'm sorry but if you buy this you are plain stupid. You're paying enough money for a full console, and yet you're getting something you already have(face it, if you want this you most likely already have a DS). 3D isn't even going to look that good on it since all the graphics are blocky, it's just going to be little chunks sorta coming out of other little chunks. Use your money for a PS3. Yeah you need the TV too (you can get a 3D ready 1080p 32" LCD TV for $600...
Personally I thought MW2 was, as he said, more jaw dropping than Halo: Reach. That said, was it better written? No. However, Halo: Reach really tugged at my emotions, and I really wanted to somehow change the way the story ended. Despite the main character being mostly silent, I felt attached to him because of the way he interacted with the other characters. I can see why Reach would not have been as adrenaline filled as MW2, it's a more somber, black parade kind of game that has action b...
Aside from the triggers, the Playstation controller is the perfect layout. It fits well in your hands, sort of resting on them without having to hold it, and the analog sticks are symmetrical which makes it wasy on the hands instead of having one hand way at the front.
I think Reggie and Aaron Greenberg are the biggest dicks in gaming. I've owned systems from all three companies, but I've never seen anyone with such prominent leadership as these guys constantly running their mouths about other companies products. Bobby is definitely bad, and I think the people at Crytek also need to shut up, but Reggie and Aaron shoot off their mouths so much that they forget to think. There's definitely been more than one time where I've read quotes of them...
Screw this! If people stop buying the DS games maybe they'll FINALLY make KH III, the only game fans truly care about. Yeah, you could argue that fans still want these, but anyone whose played the first 2 or any of the DS games has to want KH III more than anything else
