Halo is rated M, so naming it murder mode is okay. Just it might become a political hot topic later down the road when a kid commits a crime and Halo: Reach is found in his Xbox 360.

I think it would be neat if they use the trophy system as a sort of Last.FM device, were it starts to recommend games/movies/shows based on the genre you prefer. It would go well with the premium service bonus of being allowed to play the first 1 hour of a game for free.
Yeah but think about what you just said. Pretty much if they are what you don't want than the people who do want to camp and spawn kill will buy the maps, since its what they like to do.
I think I'd bite if ThatGameCompany makes a video game with the new motion control, I'm still fairly skeptical as to the seriousness of the product. Sony has too lax of an attitude when it comes to getting 3rd parties to do things.
Does it matter which one is better? Both are gimped. No Final Fantasy fan wins on this one.

I think this as a positive, since that means that 80% of women don't care or are cool with gaming habits. That's pretty great considering how we generally have the social stigma that women dislike/hate gamers, turns out that was only 20% of them.
I vaguely remember a staff member of Infinity Ward brushing off Nazi Zombie mode as unimportant in a interview. In the same interview he commented about how 4 player co-op would be dumb for MW2 since it would ruin the 'single player experience'. I think it would of been funny to see 4 people moving slower than frozen molasses during the "No Russian" level if they did have 4 player co-op. :)
The same can be said about all sequels. You can't really clear the pieces and start from scratch, you have to work with whats there and make it into something different and yet keep it close enough to the same thing so that it doesn't upset fans of the franchise.
You know what did flying right? Flower.
You know what looks to do flying and combat well? Dark Void
You know what franchise has never had a good video game? Superman
Not sure of what to say about this game. There are so many factors in this equation.

I had the same problem getting in a 256 player match as Raven, although I tried SEVER first but disliked their weapons. I ended up really enjoying Valor and their whole set up.
Not sure I'll be getting MAG though, I'm unemployed and the savings I have left from my last job are diminishing by the day. I'm really hoping to get a new job soon, so many games I want to have.

Just calling something by its original name seems less inspiring. I mean Survival Mode just sounds so last gen, going with Horde or even Firefight is way more interesting.
Yeah, some of the MGS4 trailers were really great. Really surprised none of them creeped into the list. I was completely caught off gaurd by inFAMOUS. I loved the game but didn't know other people loved the trailer. Halo 3 got a ton of love, their marketing was impressive. What I wish was here but isn't is the first Mirror's Edge trailer. That trailer just left my jaw on the floor the first time I saw it.
Well with this I'm starting to feel like we'll hit 3D gaming before with hit Mass Digital Distribution.

In terms of the hardcore market dieing, I think that's impossible. For one hardcore gamers are the only gamers who buy New IP's and allow to flourish in the games market, as we like to try different experiences/stories. While Nintendo's Casual market just seems interested in fun little side activities for minutes of enjoyment at a time.

Just run a search for MAG on the PSN store, look under demos or under category of M. The download and install time is very long.
I have to say though that MAG is different. Its more of a game responsive to players who do want to work together and who have Microphones. I can see a lot of big clans forming as the game pretty much wants you to have one. Will it have stunning sales? I don't think so.
