I always figured the Arcade was the Slim version as its cheaper and stripped down to the essentials. It will be interesting to see what they announce at E3 since they still need to show off the Natal games they have been working on. Would be funny to see a Just Dance come to Natal.

Did the Wii loose sales when Wii Fit and Mario Kart created system shortages from so many people purchasing the hardware? Answer: No. Why? Because sometimes in life when you can't get something right away you want it even more.

Don't you dare play with my Starcraft emotions Sony. I know you have online now, I know the Playstion Move to the PS3 is like what mouse would be to a PC and I know Activison is part of Blizzard now so they are interested heavily in making money. But this isn't my first time to this rodeo and I'm going to just watch what you do with what you have.

1. After CoD4 the contract IW had with Activision had expired and they were under no obligations to renew it but Acitivision threw out a deal they didn't waste time passing up. Along with the deal came another Modern Warfare title along with being allowed to create a new IP.

2. I remember a developer discussing the first meeting Modern Warfare 2 with Activision where Activision pitched them a sum of money they could use for creating Modern Warfare 2, to which response Infinity Wa...

Typically the expression used in this scenario would be, "Don't hate the player, hate the game." but Heavy Rain is only worthy of garnering love/respect. Cage is taking a stance that games need to realize they can take too, that not everything has to be about shooting/slashing, that there is more that can be done and should be done. In other words people need to start stepping up their game.

"fast, crisp moving fluid moving action game"

You didn't watch the review did you? Bayonetta, Ninja Gaiden (Sigma) II and Darksiders all say hi by the way. Kratos will join them come this March.

Is that MAG is building a strong following like some fun old classic FPS used to, such as Counter-Strike, Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Quake III. What sucks is MAG won't have the Mod support to keep mixing it up to make it fresh and interesting, at least it has strong dedicated servers with little to no lag.

Ugh, that looks bad. No wonder they stopped trying to port Last Remnant over to the PS3, Square-Enix just sucks at it. FFXIII is pretty bad by JRPG standards as well but at least that's beautiful to look at.

As jack_burt0n stated its an acquired taste. I did pretty well as a Predator and okay as an Alien, I felt that marines were just fodder. The FPS mechanics are pretty ancient but the appeal of playing different types of combatants is still there. Pretty much if you wanted an FPS AvP game this is it, if your looking for something more than you won't find it here.

Yeah, it looks that way. Dante just comes up short in this fray of hack n' slash titles coming out this spring. EA might have pushed this out too early and their hard marketing of the game worries me.

The good reviews are making me feel bad about not having the money for this game (and I was one of the people who enjoyed the Beta).

Your right. Heavy Rain's abnormal form as a video game is its appeal. As long as they don't try to sell it something it isn't, like EA did with Brutal Legend.

"There is also starting to be an emerging issue of the maps being slightly unbalanced for a faction. The group S.V.E.R. is under suspicion of having the home field advantages because the level design. It has yet to be proven and nothing that a patch couldn't fix."

I'm starting to think there may be truth to this. I here it brought up a lot by MAG players but that could just people being sore about losing.

Get the game to see for yourself.

I hope they drop the price like a lot of games are doing after the first month. I think the $60 dollars was for initial sales to cover the server cost.

As long as it doesn't unleash the force.

:P

The game is pretty boring anyways, you can literally get through most of it by pressing a single button over and over. Which sucks cause I felt that combat would get deeper after FFXII, it didn't.
