I think big games on day one do obviously help but you can't buy an Xbox Series X anywhere so for the first couple of months they ain't going to sell any more consoles even with loads of day one exclusives.
As long as there's regular big games next year with big advertising spends with each of them Microsoft will sell a lot of consoles.
Same for me, Gamepass is the killer for me. All those games plus EA play. All future new 1st party on Gamepass day one. I haven't got to spend £60 a game.
This game is amazing plus its on Gamepass too. The update for the Series X looks great. I will be playing this all over again as the 1st time was amazing on the One X. I will buy the lego expansion plus the extra island to.
If I had a very good pc 9 months ago but bought a much better one with a great graphics card this week, what is so bad about playing this game on your new pc with a much better GPU.
Wow Unself. Comment of the day right there..
Well I rarely go the Cinema when I do its usually to watch a big money blockbuster film.
I'm on Netflix almost every day, I watch & enjoy stuff id never of thought of buying.
So the metaphor works exactly for me.
Exactly Optimus. Gamepass works for me to, its brilliant for the money. I have never played so many games. I'm playing games now that I'd never considered buying.
Netflix, Disney+ etc are all doing similar, they have a long term plan. They ain't doing it for fun.
Gamepass is great. Examples of viability based on games like GTA don't really work as for every GTA selling game theres a 100 that sells nowhere near as much & will do well for a publisher on Gamepass.
Examples of such as subscribing to Gamepass for one month because a new game has become available & then unsubscribing doesn't work either, a small minority of ppl do this, most just continue to subscribe. In fact there's data available for things like Amazon Prime,...
Exactly this.. I found it was to much effort for some ppl aswell, they just preferred to chill & just use a controller.
Great for family fun tho & gutted there's nothing new out like it. I'm looking forward to getting an Intellivision Amico next year, that looks great.
I loved kinect, I had great fun with friends playing Kinect Sports 1 & 2. Also enjoyed a kung fu game that I can't remember the name of.
There were to many poor games on it that was its biggest problem.
Oh, Child of Eden with Kinect was also awesome & the Forza game where you turn your head to look into a corner that was great..
Brilliant news for me as I have just bought a new philips ambilight tv that has this
Bathymetry You may never be getting Gamepass & you may not like it but you have to except other ppl love the service. Microsoft have made a commitment to make high quality exclusive games. They just spent over 7 Billion Dollars on a load of studios. Where have you been?
What are you talking about Charlie Boy. The Xbox Series X is the most powerful next generation console. I know it hurts but Series X games will look better & future 3rd party games even more so.
There's ton of 3rd party game's some which look really good. Most of these game's will look at their best on the Xbox Series X unless you have a really expensive PC.
The Xbox has plenty of 1st party games to follow plus theres the amazing Gamepass with 100s of games to play that has got cheap entry price.
Theres more than enough games for me...
Yes I sold my older ambilight just this week to buy a newer model.
Awesome tvs, I could never go back to a non ambilight one.
Get the hue bulbs, they are great too
I just bought a Philips Ambilight. I love Ambilight it really brings more to playing games its great.
There just seems to be a lot more to the PS5. The heat sink is huge, the bluray drive being inside a metal case to keep it quiet, the overall size of it, the plastic flaps on the sides plus the plastic base that has to be screwed on and it has to be able to turn. Oh & finally the controller which has more features than an Xbox Series X controller including it has to have a lithium ion battery inside. Definitely all adds up.
Do you think it looks cheaper to produce than an Xbox Se...
I definitely think after seeing both teardowns the PS5 is costing more to manufacture than the Xbox Series X.
I expect a slim version PS5 within 18 months.
"The best thing MS has done for Playstion fans is put Gamepass on PC.
Now we don't have to buy their console at all. Not only that, we can buy a $70 game for only one month sub to gamepass, finish the game, and unsubscribe for PEANUTS. So thank you to MS for this"
How many ppl have a PS5 plus a powerful PC, it's a stupid argument. Plus if u ain't buying those third party games on PS5 but are getting them on Gamepass it means the publ...
Can't you understand some prefer Xbox. Gamepass isn't on PlayStation so its Xbox for me.
