Will they be fighting weebs dressed as furries and anime women, and American soldiers wearing Yeezys with sharp fade haircuts? Sure, why not, eh, Dice?
I've just given them ideas, haven't I?
Yep, and you're getting disagrees from fanboys of other systems here, but the truth of the matter is exactly how you put it. This reliance on more and more powerful hardware...to do what exactly? Take 8 years to make a game to take advantage of it, and then shovel in grinding loot box bollocks to rake back the production costs? I'm currently playing through Ocarina of Time for the first time since it came out, and lo and behold, that game still stands up. A game over 20 years old. Old...
Overhyped beyond belief. The only reason they are recognised as a big studio these days is because Sony pumped money into them at the start of last gen. The PS3 was struggling for viable genuinely eye catching first gen games in its early days, and Uncharted filled in the gap by being a action Tomb Raider clone that was nothing special, but got the attention because, well, there wasn't much else for the PS3 at the time, was there?
Now, downvote me away.
And yet, it shits all over ME:A and is still an essential part to the trilogy.
Stop nitpicking. It's still an amazing game.
Yeah, 2 was not only the best ME, but one of the best games ever made, and still is, full stop. People love to moan about ME3, but then when you put it next to ME Andromeda, that should quickly end all debate in an instant. The way I look at it is that all 3 Mass Effects make up one absolutely incredible saga from start to finish. They all compliment each other, and are all essential to the ME trilogy.
So, not all that different to a massive so called "AAA" blockbuster that you pay 60 quid for, then?
Imagine a FPS Blade Runner or Perfect Dark type game like this in VR? I'd throw my money at that.
MS getting involved in VR? I'll believe it when I see it. They're known bullshit merchants. They should have a whole R&D on VR, but they don't.
The physically based melee certainly looks better. The way weapons can get stuck in a zombie head and they actually look like they are made of something that doesn't resemble thin paper when a sharp weapon touches them. These kinds of things are very important in VR.
So is the power of the cloud real now because Sony said so?
Slow news day?
Yeah, I know. It's actually better than what you wanted.
This in VR would have been absolutely horrific.
So, the N64, a console that had some of the greatest titles ever to have been made, and even to this day, was a failure? LOL wise up. The Dreamcast, likewise. Sure, it might not have sold well, but it was ahead of its time and had amazing games. Hardly a failure.
OK, mate. Don't hurt me, mate. I know you grew up in the 90's and all, you mad bastard, you!
Yep. It's like they are doing it for a laugh to wind people up. The very same people who'll complain that the article is written by someone overly sensitive, or a "snowflake". Oh, the irony. It's lost on daft people, and there's plenty of them.
Well, aren't you just hard as nails, big trunks. LOL " I grew up in the 90's. I'm harder than you are!" LOL fuck off, mate.
@Brave_Losers_Unite
At least someone's using their brain on here.
I'm not normally one to give credit to these so called UE4 fan rehashes, because they're usually just shite, but this actually looks really good. If it has enemies with ai similar to the original, and actual functioning gameplay, then I'm interested.
I've had shits that were scarier.
Only in America.
It's like this with everything now. People going well over the top about something just because it has a bit of violence or controversy in it, harkening back to "the good old days". Just look at the latest Joker film as a perfect example. Mediocre shite that's being blown up to be the second coming.
