Yeah, so outside the box, schlock like The Walking Dead beat him to the punch about 10 years ago. There was absolutely nothing profound, original, or interesting about what he was trying to do with the story. All it served to do was confuse, disjoint and bloat to the point where it just came across as self-indulgent tripe. The gameplay was good. Story? Yeah, the first game did that better.
Remember the time when Chris Redfield showed up in RE5 with absolutely ridiculous arms? Yeah, everyone thought it was ridiculous for that back then, so fuck off with your agenda here. She was far too big. Unrealistically so. Besides, what the fuck was wrong with her during the flashbacks? She looked perfectly fine and athletic for a female protagonist, instead ND went too far by shoving steroid needles up her arse. It was off putting.

From a developer supposedly obsessed with their attention to details, how is it they designed a woman clearly juiced up and built like a Bulgarian weightlifter, when the game is supposed to be set in a post-apocalyptic nightmare world where food would surely be scarce, and steroids even scarcer? Women with sculpted bodies are fine and all, but they made everyone else in the game, men included, to look like dweebs. Nice one ND. Two thumbs up there.
