I did run out and buy LBP. I in fact pre-ordered it. Lot's of people did the same for R2. LBP is absolutely a must-have for anyone who bought it and for a ton of people who know nothing about it that would buy it.
Look at Halo 3. Over 8 million sold and I didn't like it playing it at a friends house. I didn't buy it and it's not a must have for me.

Wow, I differ greatly in likes and dislikes but get your logic. I think LBP definitly deserves it. I was excited about Fable 2 until I played it for awhile. 2/3 the way in it got boring. There's a lot of issues with the game too.

Choosing Fable 2 is a sign that one should retire from this industry. Seriously how could it have beat MGS4, Fallout 3, LBP, GeoW2, R2?

Fable II? WTF! This was the game I was most excited about and most dissapointed. The game is truly just above average. I'd rather play World of Warcraft level 1-10 alone on a server before picking up Fable II again.
