These guys say "Sony must drop there price" and now they say "price drop makes no difference". I wonder how Forbes did with anticipating the economic crash.
This guy looks like a fool now that the Slim has been announced at $299 with 30% less power usage.
This article is lame. He's says right in the article that people might be excited because the price is dropping then determines that's not a valid reason and says fanboyism must be the answer. Wow, what a shameless attempt to get attention.
The look identical except the 360 version is a bit brighter. The contrast ratio still felt simular. They are so close I'd likely fail a blind test if I played one for more than a few minutes.
It comes down to controller preference and exclusive content. Oh, of course it also matters if one of your consoles is currently broken. I know what you're all thinking but no, it's my PS3 that's dead.
They both look good but the real question is the framerate. I don't want a choppy, screen torn version.

God of War 3 as long as it reviews well. Although, if the game is weak, Sony will probably prevent pre-release reviews from happening.
There's really not comparison here. Samus just has way too many skills and abilities to even compare. One super bomb and he's done.
BRD from Netflix has been far more reliable than DVD. Partly because they are typically newer and people with a bit more money have BRD and tend to be more responsible about that sort of thing. However, the couple of BRDs that I have received that were scratched up played without a hitch.
I have issues with DVDs about 1 in 30 and have had no issues with BRD. This report is likely fake.
Yes, the 360 typically costs more but including repair costs is dumb and some of the numbers don't match up. Who approves this stuff?
The XMB is the most user friendly UI of the consoles that has any sort of functionality. Microsoft's NXE is nice to look at but has the most horrible usability. It's basically an XMB with all the important functionality hidden. Wii is just too simple. Point click, one function per icon, that's it...
It's kind of dumb but I guess it's good advertising.
It's much faster. I downloaded a Dexter episode and started watching it after just a minute or so. I also noticed Uncharted 2 beta downloaded super fast.
I don't get the title, GT5 was voted better even though Forza devs tried to bribe voters...

My preference is LPCM as well but your statements aren't exactly accurate. One common example is that a lot of receivers support night mode and other effects on Dolby Digital but not DTS or LPCM.
Night mode being the most common but others as well.
I know is sounds rediculous but I'm on the fence wether to buy and existing PS3 today or wait a week for a Slim. I guess I'm inpatient since my last PS3 has been broken.
