I'm a big fan of a lot of what Sony does and basically the answer is yes. Home may become something in the future but they spent a lot of time on it and it misses the mark.
I'm not sure Sony understands what's important to online gamers. This is evident since they didn't include headsets with every PS3 and seamless chat capability.
Microsoft published Mass Effect and most likely has publishing rights over the title so it's unlikely it will come to the PS3.
Too bad most OSs won't benefit from it.
We just don't read crap from sites like yours just trying to get you hit count up.
He makes sense except that the title says Sony shoots itself in the foot, not it's customers. And why the hell is a Christian gamer playing KZ2?
It's not too early to begin a process that takes 4 years to complete. They likely started this back in 2008.
Sony needs to do a better job with the graphics chipset and memory architecture. Twice as fast as a PS3 won't cut it but twice as much Cell with a much improved graphics chipset will.
We know Sony needs to drop the price, this isn't news, stop approving this crap! Secondly, the PS3 is still a better deal than the 36+ a BRD player. Geez.
Moron. Oasis is crap anyway, basically wannabe RadioHead who thinks they're better than the Beatles...
Looks good. I'll play it once they fix all the bugs in LBP.
They really need to fix this stuff. LBP is going to get lost on my dusty shelf pretty soon.
Crappy writing... for instance " Square Enix is to blame for this mishap, but the blame also falls squarely on Microsoft. "
Does the author understand what "blame falls squarely" means?
I can't get past the stupid title.
Why can't anyone write an objective comparison. Here, I'll do so right now:
1. Games
a. Multi-platform games are generally better on the 360 but the gap is narrowing.
b. Exclusive games depends on what you like but Sony had the edge in 2008 in terms of variety and quality.
2. Everything Else
a. The PS3 is easily the better pick for HT enthusiests.
b. For gamers who don't care about multimedia, save $70 by buying an XBox. That is assuming you d...
yes, it's well beyond old. It'd be like posting an article about the end of MS due to the RROD except Sony hasn't done anything quite so horrible.
They bust out with "dominate" and basically they're talking about console sales yet they exclude the Wii... Here's how it will play out:
1. Console Sales Winner: Wii
2. Best Exclusives: PS3
3. Best Multi-platform: 360
That's the bottom line. No one will dominate, each console will do well in it's own way.
It was a ridiculous made up rumor.
This seems a bit blown out of proportion. Microsoft researches everything. They have their own Live Meeting service they are pushing.
It's worth noting that these are using American ratings which typically favor the 360 where as Japanese ratings would favor the PS3 and Wii. IGN did an article like this using their own Australian rating and it seemed more unbiased.
In any case, I own all three and can tell you there's some overrated and underrated games in that list. Banjo sucked, Fable 2 was definitely overrated and Motorstorm 2 was overrated. Resistance 2 was absolutely underrated given the scores Gears 2 got....
Although there's no way anyone is going to fully agree with this, I have to say this is the most respectable "best list" I've seen for some time. Sure, I'd re-order a few things but it's still a solid list.
Not even worth renting. The controls are total frustration. They should fire whoever came up with that idea.
