Here's what I think:

WTF? "MOST ADDICTIVE VIDEO GAME FUELED BY DEW", ok...
Best Driving Game: DiRT, Not even. Forza 2 is much better.
Breakthrough Technology: The Orange Box, is rediculous. Some old and new games mixed with a cool puzzle game. COD4, UT3, Uncharted all had better technology.
Lastly, Spike is owned by MTV so it's obvious why Rock Band won best Soundtrack. It may be a better game but the GHIII soundtrack is much better. Also, Harmonix won studio...
Lame... First, take away the dumb intercoolers, especially for the PS3, don't need it. Secondly, $50 for an HDMI cable is a ripoff, go to Blue Jean Cable. Lastly, as many of you stated, the 360 doesn't come with even one re-chargeable battery or recharger, you need to buy both.
The price challenge is done and the PS3 is winning easily. In regard to games, frankly I like the PS3 games better and I'm more excited about the upcoming Wii games then the 360 games. Which system has b...
Lame secret.
Somewhere in between.
What a dumb prediction. The way one side wins is by the other negotiating to get on board. Sony won't back down from Blu-ray, they stayed with Mini-disc and UMD movies way to long to back down with their best format yet.
Most likely the war will continue for some time.
I have the ps3 version and the contrast is very average. I have an ISF calibrated 70" XBR2 with 15k:1 contrast ratio and I can tell you I'm not impressed. My bro-in-law has the 360 version. I'll check it out soon. I may get a 360 this XMas and if so, I'll be able to do nearly a side by side on the same calibrated TV by flipping through the inputs.
I'll say this. The graphics are impressive but after seeing Uncharted on my TV, I have a new bar.
Is it me or does GTA look kinda of bad graphically?
Prismo,
Read it, they claim it's "IMPOSSIBLE to add random people you play." which is false because that's what the "With Anyone" mode let's you do.
TWO MODES
"With Friends" - You see the names, requires friend codes.
"With Anyone" - No names, play random games without friend codes.
IGNORE G4!
Geez guys. Stop freaking out. That quote is referring to the "With Anyone" mode. You will know names when playing with friends, you will not know names when playing with random people. The game is going to be awesome.
I saw it. It simply details how to use the friends list. It doesn't eliminate the "With Anyone" mode. G4 made an assumption but didn't actually look at the game features. No worries folks, it supports random games.
This is false. Read the link below directly from Nintendo: "You can also battle with people you don’t know who are looking for brawls. The most important point here is that you will not know each other’s names."

It's hard to say if 1UP isn't full of crap blaming him for the Ratchet review. Both sites suck, a lot better resources out there.
That's just dumb. The Wii is 3rd in content IMO.
How can GameSpot even be considered a reputable source anymore. They suck, he's better off. Btw, a 10 for Tony Hawk was definitly overkill.
While I'd love to agree with the Penny Arcade guy, he's wrong. The IGN review is completely fair. I like the game a lot. I have the PS3 version but come on, we got to judge technical quality and variety as well which this game seriously lacks.
There's really only a few things you can do over and over. Pick pocket, easedrop, interrogate, and assassinate for an informant. It's all canned, rinse, wash and repeat style play with some decent to good but not great story.
Got to love the spin on this. "They cancelled". how about, "they never took an interest in this to begin with". While I would love to see them talk about how HD-DVDs are just as expensive, have a lower top end bit rate, less capacity and the cheap players suck, I think it's smart not to even consider a debate is needed.
From their perspective, they're doing well, let's just pretend HD-DVD doesn't exist. Btw, I own both and definitly prefer Blu-ray. My Toshi...
Man this is old. The article that no one wants to write is "Why buy a Wii over anything?"
I own both a PS3 and a Wii and there is a _ton_ more to do on the PS3. I like the Wii and I'm waiting for Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. but come on people.
Plus, what's this crap about games being grounded? If you like the games, get the damn console. Think for yourself people.
DFresh, That's not completely accurate. It's more complex than that and the next approved resolution is 1440P not 1480P. HDMI 1.3 already has it listed in the spec.
Blu-ray not only has better capacity but better data rates as well. 36Mbit for HD-DVD and 54Mbit for Blu-ray. Some Blu-ray movies already exceed 36Mbit.
When 1440p (2,560 x 1,440) becomes more available it is likely that the PS3 will receive a firmware update (only for movies) to support it since it h...
