The irony of it all; 360 with skimpy HD space and expensive upgrades is pushing digital download...
That's sad. A wantabee home/Mii enviroment. It may be a positive if it works better than the sliders but it's obviously a cheap knockoff of the other consoles.
Here we go again...
Btw, LBP is going to own all other games this year anyway...
Square was obviously full of crap when they said it could only run on the PS3. My concern is that now they have to squeeze it onto a DVD. Perhaps the 360 version will be a couple of DVD and require a HD. Who knows but the game could end up compromised now.
Although on the other hand, maybe it'll run smooth on the 360 and be choppy on the PS3 as we've all grown acustomed too.
Still a ripoff. No wi-fi, no re-chargable batteries, tiny hard drive. Lame...
Even the Wii has wi-fi.
the games will likely suck.
"imately, at this stage, a RAM expansion seems inevitable"
Uh, does the PS3 hardware support this? And 512MB for $20 of video ram? Who writes this crap?
"Is the PS3 broken" is not a "best possible sense". Say "Does the PS3 need more memory" and then you sound rational. Be specific with your recommendations otherwise they are just insults.
To answer the question, for a reasonable price I would buy a memory expansion.
This is wrong: "It’s not as flexible or as efficient as having a huge chunk of RAM that can be used wherever, whenever for whateve"
Actually dedicated ...
IDK, I think gaming isn't very expensive at all until you go bleeding edge. There's everything from PS2 to Next Gen consoles to Crysis running PCs...
Movies are expensive.
Not true, it's $50, not $5. It's simple emough for the author to have checked KMart's website.

It's more like a handful are complaining and this happens every firmware update.
MS has lost even more money.
I don't think that patent will hold up but I also don't think Sony will risk a legal battle. It's got to be the dumbest patten out there. It's basically trying to patten multi-tasking.
This has nothing to do with 2.4. PS3 already supports custom soundtracks, they just have to be implemented by the developer.
Sony has a habit of saving that money and buying studios instead. MS has paid a lot of money for exclusives and overall it has helped their market but they've also waisted a ton of money on crap games or content that didn't help.
Sony should consider buying Insomniac or ensuring that exclusive relationship for the future.
I'd rather have 720p than 1080p with a bunch of screen tearing... I do prefer GT over Forza but this guys argument is lame.
Wow, how lame. One of the top issues with MGS4 is the SIXAXIS trigger buttons... If you've played MGS4 you know that these buttons are used very well in the game. Yes, the buttons suck but the game uses them very well. This article should be, 10 reasons why I don't like Sony.
There may be a correlation between people who dislike MGS4 and people to dumb to find the skip button. I suspect this guy is proof.
IMO, Gamez = Sony, Other = MS
Although as for new announcements and shockers, definitly MS.
