"Square Enix CEO: Tabata wants to 'embrace Western gamers' with Final Fantasy 15"
FF has been appealing to to western gamers way back, but I think FFXV is geared more towards mid to older teens. FFVII had a different age pool effect. I knew guys 30 and 40 years old playing FFVII.
I think Streaming works best on smaller screens, the bigger the screen the more apparent the compression becomes. Steam's game streaming option works like the same way too.
A cease and desist order wouldn't stop it from being leaked to the public, and the developers aren't collecting a cent from it anyways.
"Rise of the Tomb Raider PS4 & PC Release Dates Revealed, So What's The Point of Timed Exclusives?"
They were trying to keep the info tight on a leash with all those PR statements in the past year. I guess the media and fan base got them to spill it this early.
examiner corrected themselves. the sentence that Bitby was quoting was from examiner's summary, not from actual PR quotation.
Cool, i wonder what windows 10/DX12 features will it support.
this looks too fun, can't wait!
The character looks alright, the artist needs to go over a few more things. some more animations for running and extra texture detailing.
At least Epic took the time to clear that up.
Great video! me personally though my hands prefer the xbox 360 controller. I also have a Logitech wireless controller boxed away as backup, it's doable. The Bluetooth and built in battery pack though is definitely something to consider in the DS4 for PC.
seriously disturbing stuff and crazy visuals. it looks great. playing as a really strong beast i don't know though. Unless the other beasts are leagues stronger than you, A beast of this magnitude would have a greater scare factor if it was an opponent.
"Does that mean the definitive editions(ps4 and pc) will be higher?"
The last game had fluctuating performance without a cap, now some people think the next game will be solid 60 fps. the last game was built on last gen hardware which is why performance was higher. this time around they're using more CPU and GPU power so 60 fps isn't going to be in cards for this game.
Now, of course IF a PC version was to exist, there would be the ability t...
Impressive demo and trailer then. Performance was also great for a demo. Good job!

Valhalla Game Studios will be publishing a special edition of the game for PC, that’s solely focused on the multiplayer. Multiplayer on PC will also be ‘tailored for the platform.’ The Wii U version will still be the only version with both the single player campaign and multiplayer portion.
While the Wii U version of the game will be published by Nintendo in the Americas, Valhalla Game Studios will release a standalone version of the game for PC. The Wii U vers...
This comparsion makes no sense actually. If you follow up both of these videos, neither of them are rendered using their game engines. These were from their computers runing in maya. This is a Maya rendering comparison, for which the answer you'll get is yes Maya renders nice characters.
They'd be shooting themselves in the foot if they gut too much of the original game. In the history of game remakes i don't think i can recall a remake attempt going past 1, reboots on the other hand sure. This is a once in a long while (if ever again) shot to nail this.
They already mentioned that the original story will not change, and neither will the comical events, which is great. there still is some concerns though regarding the soundtrack, gameplay, materia sys...
I don't doubt Unity5's Abilities, it does Looks great. It Doesn't quite seem to capture though the lifelessness in the version with UE4. The Unity5's version needs to tweak depth of flied, post AA, lighting and chroma aberration to bring the two version toe to toe.
Oh good news, i see they did that. This may well confirm it will eventually be open world too, since that was the stretch goal. i guess only time will tell.
@ the disagrees, A console manufacture can pay extra for their version to be well optimized, understandable but not necessary. A game should be working correctly out of the box with all supported hardware, am I right?
Second of all, it shouldn't have to consume the resources of a whole team just to make one version of a list of supported platforms functional. This kind of practice is on the side of the same coin of parity. It's holding back development, plain and simple...
I wonder if it's the same silent hills project just renamed to dead man walking or something else.
