Well windows 10 and DX12 is finally out. better OS and API functionality is now available. just by downloading steam and having your HDD space ready for games, you should be able to game even more easier now.
Really? I'm sure the current gen could have done this at 60fps. It's probably because the game's animation and audio synced at 30fps. The game could have been re-synced for 60 fps but that would have been extra time and money digging into the code.
so it looks to be a straight forward port for PC with some enhancements in other directions.

according to gears of war 3 wiki Marcus was 21 on E-day, Gears of war 3 is 16 years later. 21+16 = 37 For Marcus In gears 3. Both Dom, Cloe, and Baird are younger than Marcus by a couple years. so that means Marcus was in his mid 30s in Gears1 and the others were in their early 30s. so the redesigns are more age appropriate actually.
Just like what 4k did to 1080p TVs and tech, 8k should drop the price of 4k TVs and tech down as well.

That skin detail, mega difference. you know also, Baird kinda does have a resemblance to Marcus now. that is interesting.
8k gaming would be insane, but of course you know 4k gaming would be cheaper and more feasible.

So Square enix is launching TR first on XB1 and FFVII remake first on PS4, then in a year from their launches they'll release elsewhere. I do see the funny dilemma with timed games.

Left is in-engine, right is real. the lighting balances in the in-engine version is super close.
