To all the disagrees: it's obviously a joke dudes, c'mon. Have you even Googled Thomas Was Alone? XD

The thing with X is it had the mechs (which was awesome, not to mention the progression towards unlocking them and being able to fly to them was quite the experience), and the map traversal utilizing the Gamepad, which felt superb.

But Xenoblade Chronicles had the better story, better characters, better combat (IMO), and most memorable world. I can fondly remember and name several locations in Chronicles, something I can't quite say for X.

I think a remaster is valid. Would you deny that TLOU Remastered wasn't arguably the best game released for the PS4 in 2013? Remaster or not, it was (and still is) a stunning game.

I haven't played Animal Crossing, but I do know Xenoblade Chronicles is amazing, and having it remastered and with improved gameplay is a big deal.

@king_noctis: eh. It could happen, definitely, but I think we shouldn't ignore the fact that the Switch is now cathering to both NIntendo markets: portable and console gamers.

Technically speaking, the Switch is a 9th gen console, tho, not 8th gen. Remember it came out early because the Wii U was a miserable failure, sales wise.

On that sense, yes, the PS4 will absolutely end at number 1 this generation even if the Switch outsells it. Again, technically speaking, Switch sales should be tallied against the future PS5 and Xbox Series. On the other hand, we can't ignore the fact that no matter what generation the Switch belongs to, it is current...

The Series X has higher specs than the PS5, though. We can't ignore that. If Microsoft wants to sell it cheaper than the PS5, they will have a smaller profit margin than Sony, so you have no guarantee that the new Xbox will actually be cheaper.

Everything is speculation at this point, for all we know, Microsoft could be willing to sell their new console for little to no profit betting on gains with their subscription services and the like... but as it stands right now, ...

I'm betting on $400 for digital version, $450 for disc drive version. At most $450-$500 respectively.

Considering Naughty Dog's track record, I'm betting more on the former.

I thought news pertaining streamers and Youtubers weren't allowed here? When I submitted an article pertaining the death of Etika, it was not approved for that reason, but this is fine?

Ambitious? Bro, get real. Bloodborne has an amazing art direction, but technically speaking, it's nothing out of the ordinary. It's not Uncharted 4, Red Dead Redemption 2 or anything close to that. It's an example of a game that's dropping frames on a console that is more than capable of handling it, meaning it's a fault of the game developers, not the console itself. And the same can be said about Pokemon and other games that are not running optimally on Switch despite th...

Bloodborne, my favorite PS4 game, and one of my favorite games of all time, had some framerate drops here and there when I played it. According to your logic, then, I guess that means that all PS4 games run at poor framerate?

Yeah, how dare they support a console they like that has games they like... the nerve.

@annoyedgamer: they already did that. That's what Lost Legacy is.

Don't be silly. It doesn't really matter what console generation the Switch is part of, because right now, it's fighting for the consumer's money against the PS4 and the Xbox One. That is a fact. In that sense, they are all competing, so the comparison is apt.

Switch **technically** is a 9th gen console if you judge it sorely by release numbers, you're right... but everyone knows that it came to replace the Wii U on this current generation because that o...

Specs ultimately don't matter, it always come down to the games. Whichever console has the better balanced library between exclusives and third party content will always be the best console, and Playstation has always had that balance. Seeins Microsoft's piss poor history with exclusive content, I have no faith on them for their next console, but I know for sure Sony will deliver, as always. I don't care one bit which one is the most powerful.

Gamecube controller. It's THE Smash controller, period.

1898d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

No dude, just no. The fact that you can't have separate save files with separate islands per user on a console for Animal Crossing for Switch is not defensible, period. People should have that option.

You talk as if Paladins was a bad game... it's great. Yes, it has some bugs, but it's still hella fun.

This community overall is toxic and backwards as hell. Anytime you see any news regarding something like this, or gay characters, or minority characters being explored in any way in a video game, you will see that the majority of comments are like this. It's quite sad, really, considering these kind of games are the minority.

Wii U was free, and was better in many areas than the Switch regarding online. Same for the PS3.

Price is not an excuse.

Online gaming is also free on PC and vastly superior to what consoles offer.
