Exactly, and no matter what any exec says in public, it's a dog eat dog competition for our $. And that includes converting customers from one platform to another. The shareholders demand it. Some of us treat it like a sporting event, but for the execs, their salaries depend on crushing the competition... Game on!
Yawn. Didn't we just have this conversation yesterday?
Would be awesome, except not sure if balancing something like that is even possible when you only have one life. I mean, coming up on a Titan without cover is like guaranteed death
Yeah that'll be a real hoot. It's just reporting on NPD. Nothing to see here other than Switch is doing well in the US.
I thought i saw a study that concluded that most switch usage was undocked. But, whatever, I don't think having a dock/hdmi port changes the game dramatically. Sure, call it a hybrid.
No adults out there that like handheld systems, huh? Even if that's true I'm pretty sure Sony would disagree with your assessment that they only want adult gamers.
Please continue to outsell, Nintendo, so Sony and MS jump into the Handheld market (again)...
Nice adds. I like how their site has fun with the announcements.

It is a nice piece of HW. I happen to enjoy the competition between MS and Sony, so I really hope they do next gen at the same time so we can see how they stack up against each other. Unfortunately I'm guessing MS' new plan is to stagger a year following Sony so they can react to their offering, but we'll see...
@porkchop, yes they work, just not successful from a sales perspective. I think MS would use their own API, like the WMR headsets do, but would want to partner with one company or make their own. Reduced choice but guaranteed consistency is the console way
They've failed because you need to do more than just support them via an API. You have to invest and promote Especially true for consoles.
Minimally they should do the same thing they did with PS4 and build the tracking into controllers. I agree though, would be nice for it to come out together, as difficult as that would be.
Yeah, they'll come in late to the party, and MAYBE they'll do alright even though others have established a solid foundation.
Might might might
Open your eye!
Why don't you want VR? Do you hate reality, or perhaps only have 1 eye?
I couldn't resist. Seriously though if you're not seeing stereocopically, VR wouldn't be as impressive, I respect that.
