Absolutely agree. I like the term "art design" for what you describe. In the BOTW-world all the graphical elements fit together beautifully to create one unique and seamless experience. Nothing feels out of place, every little thing adds something... The colors are simply amazing. Sound design also adds a lot. Those sunsets or starry nights make me feel emotions just by experiencing them. Not that other games don't that btw, but Nintendo games and Zelda especially demonstrate wo...
I have to say I prefer the original look.
I'd rather have a good halo game to play on an Xbox instead.
The engine is optimized for 30fps. And the PC versions are ports. Nothing more nothing less. You just have to adjust your expectations accordingly ;)
You guys forget that ps4 is x86 now. So I'd say the ps5 will be an evolution of the ps4 but fully backwards compatible with the ps4 from the get-go. Doesn't make sense to completely change the architecture again.
If you pre-order such a game you sir are the problem.
Yeah I meant PS plus ;)
I will simply not pay full price for games without a full single player part. Especially when you need a subscription for multiplayer...
My thoughts exactly. The recent E3 would have been a good time to announce and now release a polished feature rich game, that actually works. I might pick it up now, looks interesting.
Why do people enjoy exclusives? The are bad for the consumer. It forces you to invest in hardware you wouldn't need otherwise.
EA has solved privacy. You make the game so bad people don't even want to play it for free. GG WP!
Local coop is some of the most fun with games you can have imho. Ever tried divinity original sin? Amaaaaazing. Online coop with strangers is rarely any fun at all. I'd rather play alone than with annoying kids that wanna f*** my mom.
@Avery: I agree, I use a NVIDIA card myself at the moment (gtx970), they are the better cards right now overall. But I used AMD in the past and they have made great chips and balanced cards, so no reason that they can't make that happen again in the future. I have no issue with buying the best card on the market at any given point in time, on the contrary. I don't understand the logic behind "I always buy NVIDIA, Samsung, Razer or -insert random brand name-". Actually, if yo...
So if AMD had a card that is cheaper, consumed less energy and had more power you would still choose NVIDIA?
I think it depends on what kind of a guy you are. I personally always do multiple things at once so I usually also have a few games going on at the same time. And then there is Witcher 3 which I still havent finished the Blood and Wine expansion, because when I finish it it will all be over :((
@sinjonezp: So basically you want your next Playstation system to be a pc?
You vote with your money. Activision realized they could sell the same game every year and people buy it. Why shouldn't they? Ubisoft realized they can sell half s game for 80$ and sell you parts of the other half for another ~50. And people buy that shit. As soon as you stop spending your money they will stop doing it. Simple as that. But people are preordering like crazy, so what you gonna do...
I'm just glad I'll be playing this game in half a year or so when it's fixed and the price reduced... But I also feel for the team behind Andromeda. It's a new team that never worked on such a big project/franchise and they may have been a bit overwhelmed.
There is nothing worse than token-characters, that are just there so a box can be ticked. Many works of fiction do this nowadays. It's OK to be transgender, I get it. If I met a transgender person I would handle him/her with the same respect that I would handle every other human being. I have, let's call it, "transgender tendencies" myself btw. But let's not forget transgenderism only affects a small percentage of the population. Why so much focus on transgender people? ...
Honestly I prefer the switch visuals. Removing the filters does make it look more cartoony and bland... But I would love a higher resolution/framerate version, of course.
