Playstation releases fully polished games with full content.

They don’t need to rely on PC for graphics and community mods to provide the best experience.

Because it’s on GamePass. The people who will play it will die to it being on the service. Most won’t pay $70 for it.

Have some awareness

Funny Bethesda and Rockstar does this with Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Grand Theft Auto and nobody complains about it. They just keep buying the games on 16 different platforms and are some of the highest selling games of all time.

Yet Naughty Dog does this with TLOU and all of a sudden everyone acts like this is something that has never been done before....they are bad guys.

Is it a little annoying that they've done so many remasters and only had 2 game...

Oh my. That’s a real issue. Because it’s impossible to find gift cards for Nintendo in the hundreds of other online and physical retailer.

Well the milking of those is done now....they can make part 3 of both those games now.

Good thing Xbox took advantage of this opportunity while Sony was screwing around and gained huge marketshare and released excellent games that turned the tide.....

Oh wait, they still haven't released any of their games they've been foreshadowing for 5 years.

How is Concord a scam when they put their own funds into it and are offering refunds? Its a failure not a scam

Man I've been screaming this for years. Amazing how sometimes simple logic usually wins out.

They are asking for $30, why should we not expect some sort of review process?

502d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Possibly. But at the same time $26 is not a small sum of money to pay for a video game. If a company is charging $25+ for an EA I have no problem at all with people wanting to review it.

Frame rate issues on a console in 2024. Kind of a red flag.

502d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

And on that note, if they take your money to let you play their game, even if it's in early access, it should be subject to reviews/criticism as well. A game that is $25+ for EA should be objectively reviewed and dinged on things it doesn't have, for the money you are paying.

These companies are being slick by releasing their games a year or two early and slapping the EA label on it. That way they avoid a ton of criticism on "release", because they can k...

Maybe some do it for clicks, but don't you think if a company is charging someone $25+ dollars to use their product, some sort of review process should be factored in for consumers?

I see no issues with rating a game that's not fully completed, especially if they are charging you money for it.

502d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Because these companies are charging $20 to $40 for people to play their Early Access bs. In my opinion if there is a price tag tied to it, then a website or person has the right to review the product and factor in the cost investment to it as well.

People always criticize reviewing Early Access. But whether you call is a "review" or "impressions", you're still giving the same opinion. Fact is, they are charging you to touch their product, it dese...

Because it's a more sophisticated algorithm that will exist outside of games. What they are trying to do would remember your history across multiple games and adjust your difficulty based on past performance as well. Easiest way to think about it is it's essentially an ELO/Matchmaking rating for your profile except for dynamic difficulty.

Most systems nowadays just kind of adjust the difficulty from easy, medium, hard and are more a little more jarring in the jump...

@babadivad if you're trying to stream games on Kohl's or Starbucks network that's never going to work well anyway. Not accessing public wifi networks that require browsers is a pretty big non-factor for this use face.

Damnit I was planning on playing all 7 of these games in November. This is BS

They've had nearly 2 years to plan it out. You're telling me since January 2022 since they announced the acquisition they couldn't figure out how to put the infrastructure in place to release these games this year?

When they bought Bethesda many of their games were out pretty quick on GP.

This is actually a very interesting question. Once they are finally down with Round 1 of releases from all these new companies on the Current Gen (crazy to think it's been 3 years and waiting on so many of them). If they don't have a few masterpieces (outside of bethesda, CoD and the other big hitters), it's totally reasonable to expect a lot of closures and consolidations of teams.
