I agree on the adventure thing about FFXI, I love the story aspect of that game.

I tend to agree, but it is close. Like I mentioned above, I'm a JRPG fan, so of course I lean toward Atlus. ;) I do love Bioware though. Their RPGs stand out from the mosh pit that is typically WRPG fare.

Looking forward to playing it! Oh, wait, I don't play sports games. ;) Great review, though!

WRPGs do have some nice elements and when I'm in the mood I really enjoy them. But I'm a JRPG guy through and through. Most WRPGs just don't hold my attention in the story department.

Fallout 3 is like Oblivion to me - I get lost in all the side stuff and the main story seems like a side point. Plus, the whole super-generic character thing isn't what I'm looking for sometimes. It just doesn't let me connect with the character at all.

I almost bought this CE solely for the WoW pet...I'm kinda crazy.

Kind of makes me wish I was into RTS games...

I think out of all RPGs, the Final Fantasy franchise has the most passionate fans, which, of course, leads to some pretty intense conversations about the subject.

I agree the online aspect of the 360 is superior. While Sony has come a long way since the inception of the PSN, it keeps trailing behind XBL in features. I'm not quite sure why Sony doesn't get some things like cross-game chat down sooner rather than later if they intend to compete with XBL.

People “becoming too jaded about what is or is not good sales”.

I agree 100%. Too many publishers these days, and really, gamers in general (this includes press), think that a game has to sell a million copies or more to be successful. What sells that many? Usually sequels to great games or copy-and-paste titles, especially in the FPS genre.

Most of the truly great games this generation and in those previous weren’t the huge budget game that sells millions of...

If only I didn't lend my PS3 to my brother...

I didn't realize he was Spider-Man before. I guess I learn something new every day.

I just hope if they do add MP it doesn't take away from the single player experience and the story, which often happens.

Thank you guys for the support! It's much appreciated.

Or Persona 3 Portable...sorry, had to mention it. ;)

Yeah, I definitely feel Sony is moving in the right direction. Instead of solely focusing on the casual crowd, which already own Wiis, they kind of split their time between them and the hardcore. I think Microsoft focusing only on the casuals with Kinect might come back to bite them in the rear.

Yes, because Sony released that chart as a joke. I love you Sony, such jokers.

I don't believe it is very fair to compare the Move to Kinect in certain ways, because the Kinect obviously is not a controller, it is a device used for detecting a person's movement, then that control is inputted into the game. Just about all the points they marked as "No", which looks good for them and bad for Kinect, are obviously not points that you can compare the two.

I mean, who seriously expected Kinect to have force feedback or rechargeable batterie...

If I didn't already own a PSP, this would honestly be a system seller for me.

Nothing like that ever happens around my neck of the woods, even in Chicago. :( Sounds like a great time all around, though.
