But have you played or heard of Garry's mod? That is a game with limitless replay value, based off of the unlimited user created content. Consoles are awesome, not a single thing wrong with them, but there are some amazing experiences that you may be missing out on that you may not be aware of.
I played murder on Garry's mod last night with some friends. I've never laughed so hard in my entire life.
I've never entirely understood why a gamer wouldn't be interested in PC gaming. And why people who choose to game strictly on consoles get so violently defensive when someone talks about the positive aspects of PC gaming. I mean if the game is fun, why does it matter which platform you play it on?
When console gamer's say it is misleading, that means nothing really. My brother solely uses his PS3 for Netflix and Blu Ray movies, does that somehow negate the sale of the hardware? See how that goes both ways? The fact of the matter is, it is reasonable to assume that the majority of GPU's, gaming mice, Keyboards etc, are used for gaming, the same way most (not all) consoles are uses primarily for gaming.
Friend me on steam and check out my library of over 150 games, not a single one of which is CSGO, LoL, or Dota 2. The only reason I got Counter Strike Source was so I could use the assets for Garry's mod. Challenge--how many of you console gamer's know the glory of Garry's mod?
Steam user id ben rage v2.0 anyone feel free to friend me
"Like I said, Why isn't AAA games selling better on PC if hardware sales are booming? No straight answer?"
The answer is simple. PC games have more titles to offer than the small amount of AAA titles you play every year on your console. My steam wishlist is filled from top to bottom with many games you've never even heard of, why? Because the diversity of the pc library is overwhelmingly larger. Divinity: Original Sin (coming to consoles later), Pillars of E...
@FriedGoat
"IF the PC was actually doing as well as people seem to say, wouldn't the PC version of AAA games outsell the console versions?"
Not at all. The PC has literally hundreds of games that never make it to console, or make it to console much later--Ark Survival Evolved, Starbound, Divine Divinity: Original Sin, Terraria: Otherworld, Crea, not to mention the 4x games like Civilization etc.
The PC game library is so much la...

"I cant imagine Skyward Sword not doing much for anybody, let alone a self-proclaimed Zelda fan. It was EXACTLY the shake up the series required at exactly the right time - Twilight feeling for the first time in recent memory that the series was treading water - albeit still a great game. The idea that Zelda U will be ditching Motion Plus in favour of a 'traditional' control method is a massive disappointment."

What games skipped PC recently? Serious question, no trolling.
If they released a collection on PC I would easily throw my wallet at the screen.
I agree, Red Dead Redemption is Rockstar's best game, but I have a special love for Bully. Bully was such an awesome game, if I had to vote, I would actually ask Rockstar to develop a new Bully first only because it's been so long since the game was released. Bully in college would flippin awesome!!! Sorry if I went off topic.
Max is a very special character. Even though I am a male, I can totally connect with Max's experiences as a student. What I really appreciate about Life is Strange is the believability of the characters. None of them feel overly cliched if that makes sense. I really hope this game starts a trend of more female protagonists. It's just refreshing. It's very cool seeing the actress' face too--cutie.
If you haven't played through episode 4, there are some mino...
Actually having a 4K monitor, you would be able to see a difference between 8k and 4k. Similar to Skyrim mods with 4k textures; you don't need a 4k monitor to recognize that the textures look superior to their 2k counter parts. But, you're right that having a 8k monitor is the only way to truly appreciate the full visual fidelity.
I'm personally more excited for the new Tomb Raider. We already had 3 Uncharted games, and new graphics doesn't make Nathan's adventures more interesting to me. I like the weapon upgrade system, and the skill system, which gives you a sense of progression in Tomb Raider. And I preferred the story line of the previous Tomb Raider (it's subjective I know) more than any of the Uncharted games. Although I do prefer Sony as a platform, I personally never understood the fanatic hype...

I agree with you, but let me say one thing. PC is my primary gaming platform, and like many others, I do not hate on any of the consoles, not even the Wii U. These PC elitists give a bad name to the average gamer. Most PC gamers, I would say in my experience 90-95%, game on consoles as well, because we like games no matter the platform.
Anyway, I'm not chiding you, just wanted to let you know that sane PC folks exist.
I'm so poor. Someday though...
Sounds interesting to me. I have a couple of friends who I know would play this with me. I don't know how interesting playing single player would be though.
Agreed. Now I am hoping for a Zelda maker.
Looks amazing.
If you read the article, this is simply a function of porting it from PC to PS4. Sounds like the team at Gaming Minds Studio cares enough to optimize the game properly and should be applauded for managing to pull this off at 1080p with all of the PC features intact.
Another sub-par article from another non-gamer. This is getting old. Go back to your Call of Duty Esteban. Why is it that the average video game article sounds like it is written by a petulant child?
The game didn't have what "I" wanted. This is what "I" think, and if it isn't what "I" like than it must suck. Grow up kiddo.
