While you make a good point, having story materials to work of off doesn't make the stories good.It's the writers who work for Telltale that bring the magic imho. I'm not saying this game is going to be good, but if the writers can come up with an interesting story, then it could very well be a hit.
I'm curious (I believe you own a Wii U now) what were you hoping to play on the system if those games are the only ones that appeal to you? You're not interest in mario Kart, Smash bros, Splatoon, Super mario 3d land or Donkey Kong? What about some of the upcoming releases like Xenoblade?
Then how do you explain Nintendo games being rated so highly among videogame journalists? These are the same journalists that play the Xbox and PS games that you do. You are wrong. While I do prefer PC games to the consoles, the majority of the Xbox one titles shown at E3 were 1080p and 60 fps.
However, you did hit the nail on the head in terms of the gap broadening in the near future. PC video cards are already starting to pull away from the consoles in terms of power and efficiency.

As a Vita fan I would rank the Vita higher than the Dreamcast in terms of quality games. Sales do not mean the quality of the software isn't there and on top of that the Wii U is making a profit, something that the PS3, 360 and the Dreamcast could not do. You're claim is invalid.

I haven't made it to expert mode yet, but the latest PC update is suburb nonetheless. My friends and I cannot stop playing the game; we are hopelessly addicted. Everytime I think I am done with Terraria, a new update comes out breathing new life into the experience.

No one is definitively saying otherwise. We are just speculating. All theories are welcome. If Nintendo releases a new home console, it will certainly be a surprise given that they have never done so, so quickly.
I am guessing this will be another third pillar system that could either replace the 3DS, Wii U or both. Nintendo is notoriously secretive, so no one really knows.
As long as it appeals to the consumer, I really do not care what shape it takes.

110% agree. $29.99 for a 16 gig card is insane. I bought a 32 gig SD card for my 3DS for less than that. Someday I will upgrade my 8 gig card for my Vita, but not today.
I agree. It stand to reason that the NX reveal will be similar to the DS reveal. I say that because DS was supposed to be a third pillar, sort of an experimental system, which eventually took of to replace the Gameboy. Plus the time period suggests that a handheld would come out before a console.
My best guess is NX will be a new handheld system, conceptually something Nintendo hasn't done before, and I think it is possible it will have an HDMI port just to make it a litt...
Call me crazy, but I wouldn't mind another rail shooter from Capcom. I liked the Resident Evil Chronicles (and Dark side), and a more updated version on the new systems would be a blast....see what I did there?
I agree that the trailer failed to grab my attention. But it might be premature to say that TT dropped the ball. A lot of people said the same thing regarding A Borderlands Tale when it was initially revealed, and that turned out to be one of TT's finest.
